Why don't some clubs swing by and lodge a 9m bid for Torres while they're at it.

Not a good start by Ince - will only be a sub surely and Derbyshire does the job coming off the bench and scoring late plus he is 10 years younger...

Also linked to two midfielders (Segundo Castillo and Sebastian Larsson) as well as a right back (which would move Emerton back into midfield) - I guess a fair indication Bentley will be auctioned as there is no chance we have the funds to get three decent players for 12mn+ without selling at the same time

Didn't you guys just get Crouch for about 10m more than what he's worth? Yeah, so stop complaining. And who is this Guthrie guy anyway? Someone who's not part of your first team squad i'd guess. Anything above $0 is good money.

Was a key player for a premier league side last year.

2m is an absolute pittance. Could have been a great depth player for us. Especially when we've got 2 CM's at the Olympics. We'll be relying on youth players with little to no experience for important CL qualifying games, that are so crucial with douchebag and dickface burdening the club with massive debt. I'd rather rely on Guthrie in these games, a good, talented player with premier league and european experience, than a 19 year old out of the reserves.

Why sell him now. For 2m. What the hell does 2m buy you these days. A new tea lady? Alan Smith?

Seems like were closing in on Behrami. From most Hammer in the knows, Behrami agreed to join however Werder Bremen showed some very late interest that he wanted to explore further. His agent tried to drum up some more interest but it looks like we are favorites to sign him still. Hurry up and get it done I say.
