Its not like we have spent 19 mill on a unproven striker who has scored 90% of his career goals as tap ins.

I'm guessing you haven't seen 1% of his goals, let alone 90%.

Re Corluka, from a very ITK.

Bottom line with all of this is that there is still nothing concrete about whether he is staying or going.

He arrived in Glasgow last night with the rest of the squad, but the informed opinion is that Spurs have made some kind of offer and that the club (although not necessarily the manager) are willing to accept.

The ball appears at this point to be in Charlie's court as I don't believe the club would force a move on him.

Get real mate. Can't say that as a true Hammer.

Citeh >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sp*rs

Ahhh yep.

Gudjohnsen back in our sights apparently.

And **** me, Saha as well??!?!

You have a strange definition of tap in.

As for Corluka, he is playing for us tonight and has been in Glasgow all day despite several media reports throughout that he was in London agreeing terms with Spurs.

Gary Lineker scored 99% tap ins and in today's prices would be worth much more than 19 million. Having said that I agree City have taken a gamble and more often than not when City take a gamble it fails :)

Another long drawn out transfer saga then.

I'm sorry but we're setting a record with Fulham so yours does not compare! 10 days since the bid was accepted now and all I keep hearing is "it'll be done soon"... It was meant to be done last night.. but no.. Fulham want to delay it more! FFS! Just take AJ already so we can buy some players you dirty ****ers. The way its going Everton will have 6 players out, 0 in.

Apparently Arshavin has gone on strike in Zentit
Corluka seems still on but no fee agreed. Something about add ons.

Blackburn Rovers sign Julio Santa Cruz (younger brother of Roque) to a 3 year deal. Hopefully this partnership of brothers is more like Bobby and Jack Charlton than Michael and Graeme Carrick.

We payed 4 mill to sack Freddie Ljungberg. Really high ambition at this club.... 10 days out and only one signing made. We are gonna have to start with Boa Morte upfront AGAIN vs Wigan.....

Yay for the transfer window

10 bucks on West Ham signing Voronin :D

10 bucks on us selling Dean Ashton to Spurs or Man U and replacing him with Benni McCarthy or James Beattie
You can have AndyJ for 11+1 if you want.. Fulham don't seem to want him.. well who knows whats ****ing going on at Fulham... How can they delay a signing by that long (yes, i know i bring it up again but its pretty annoying)

In all respect to Fulham they pulled out of the Marlon King deal because he failed there stringent fitness test. In the end that was the right decision. Kings knees are gone. If he fails the medical then he fails the medical. I dont think theres much more to it then that. Everton are the ones hoping the deal goes through. I think Fulham can throw 8-10 mill around and still get a good striker. Cisse comes to mind. Wants to live in London dont he....

We agreed to take the deal down, he was ready to sign a 4 year deal.. and now theres another delay. As for King.. he failed that test but worked at Wigan.. never had that many problems at Wigan. Similar with AJ.. we knew he had a knee problem from Palace days but we still passed him.

To be fair Fulham agreed the fee on the condition the bloke was fit - he isn't and they've quite rightly reduced the price accordingly. Everton should accept it or move on it has nothing to do with Fulham any more.

He is fit, thats the thing. He's fitter than half the guys running out on the park week in week out. Theres nothing wrong with his knees. I'm not so much complaining about the first medical delay... rather how it was supposed to be done last night now its another bloody delay. They are dragging it out more than Channel Ten did with Big Brother.

£6m...That's Ljungberg's reward for being a Premier League flop as Hammers show him the door

Freddie Ljungberg's disastrous spell at Upton Park is over after only 12 months as West Ham agreed to pay a staggering £6million to get him off their spiralling wage billl.

As the full extent of Ljungberg's incredible salary details emerged - he is paid £85,000 a week and had an option for another year if he made just 15 appearances this season - West Ham are still suffering from the aftershock of one of the most expensive mistakes in British football history.

In total, he cost them approximately £13m, taking into account transfer fee, wages and his pay-off - working out at over £500,000 per game, following 25 appearances for the club last season in which he made little impact.

West Ham have yet to announce Ljungberg's departure, but the deal has been agreed and he has been told he is now effectively a free agent. Ljungberg, 31, believes he can still play at the top in England, Italy or Spain and has asked his agent to find him a new club.

The Sweden midfielder was due to earn £8.84m over the next two years at West Ham and initially informed Hammers chief executive Scott Duxbury that he had no intention of reaching a settlement.

Despite being told by manager Alan Curbishley that he would not be playing for the first team this season, the injury-prone midfielder told the club he would sit tight and see out the remaining two years on his mega-bucks deal. He has not been part of the pre-season programme and is understood to be back home in Sweden 'weighing up a number of options'.

It is an incredible fall from grace for Ljungberg. He was a member of Arsenal's 'Invincibles' who won the Premier League in 2004 without losing a game and was recently voted the Gunners' 11th best player of all time.

The Hammers signed him from their London rivals for £3m last summer, but he showed no signs of his Arsenal form and his season ended early when he broke a rib in a collision with Newcastle defender Steven Taylor.

Although Ljungberg recovered to play for Sweden at Euro 2008, he announced his retirement from international football after the tournament in order to prolong his career in the Premier League.
