They doubled Chelseas offer. A good player but a idiotic offer. The type of offers City will be making in the future

Admit it. You're just jealous that City's sugar daddy has more money and credibility than the ones who have taken West Ham for a ride. Remember sugar daddy Eggy? He flirted with you, seduced you, took you up the arse, forgot your name the morning after, and now he won't return your calls.

SSN just said that we threw out bids today for 6 players, totalling over 300 million euros.

I think you can safely assume that we at least asked the question about Messi or Kaka.

Will be plenty of deals announced

Chelsea offered 19 mill. City offered 32 mill.

When was 19 million half of 32 million?

And have you got any evidence that was the price Chelsea bid?

Not really. Id want to be like Aston Villa if i had a choice. Buying good talent without attracting the bandwagon mentality. If I wanted to support a club that won every single game I would of chosen Man Unted at a young age.

Going through shitafter shit is what makes supporting West Ham so fun. Right now im pissed off but a few wins will fix that

Your forgeting the wages again....

And how much did Chelsea offer Robinho in wages?

And wheres that evidence of the £19m by the way, or did you just make that up.

The Daily Mail say 19 mill. Most other papers do. I dont think Robinho would of been offered 6 mill Euro after tax per year. Hows that in pounds. Would be close to 120k a week...

I don't get it, why would Robinho agree terms with Manchester City when he came out the other day and said he wanted to join Chelsea?

Money.

Real Madrid are quite sad here. Chelsea sold them Robben last year without too much resistance. Obviously having the class to replicate the gesture is too much for them.

That's a joke. Real buying Robben was pure business. Thousands of players are bought and sold every season. If for every time a player gets sold to a club, that club would be supposed to "return a favour", we might as well cancel the whole idea of competition.

A statement on Real's website said: "Real deplore the way Chelsea's directors have acted despite knowing perfectly well the decision not to sell the player, making statements and even going so far as to sell shirts with the player's name on through their official website."

Talk about class

Daily Mail eh? Is that the same Daily Mail that wrote this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...binho-capture-hes-left-Real-Madrid-squad.html

Chelsea have yet to improve their most recent £25.8million offer for Robinho.

And it seems Kenyon will have to come up with a further £6.4m if he is to bring Real back to the negotiating table.

And £120k is chicken feed for them, do you seriously expect that they would only have been prepared to pay half of that? I mean you were going on about SWP earning close to £100k a week at Chelsea, you can't pick and choose what you believe in depending on the argument you're trying to win.

Probably would of given him a bit less then that. Would of got SWP wages of around 90-100k. I agree the Daily Mail is a shit rag. Chelseas initial offer of 19 mill was rejected. A reasonable bid id suggest

WTF is going on with Berbatov anyway. 30 mins later and still nothing. Anyone know if Frazier Campbell is actually with Tottenham atm.... Itd be the best way to find out of the deal went through

Ha ha, you don't even have the class to hold your hands up and say you were wrong.

You dont believe you paid way more then what Chelsea were offering.... and im the delusional one....

Frazer Campbell on loan at Spurs.

Berbatov to Man United for £30m or so.

Spurs drop the tapping up complaint.

I'm guessing the loan deal is there as there wasn't time for a medical, wouldn't surprise me if it was made permanent in January.

Berbatov deal done

30.75 mill and Frazier Campbell on season long loan

When did I suggest that was the case?

Berbs to Manure confirmed, Campbell is on a season long loan at Spurs.

Haven't heard anything about a fee yet, I'd assume there would be a permanent buy option in Campbells loan contract.

Tottenham will no longer be making a complaint to the FA about Manure tapping up berbs either.

Frazier Campbell is such a unknown at this level. Much more wise decision to take him on loan then to outright buy him.

Is anyone else thoroughly sick of clubs taking the higher moral ground when a rival bids for their players? United crack the sads when Real go after Ronaldo. Real have a sook when Chelsea try to buy Robinho. Spurs get all precious when United chase Berbatov, but forget how they got their manager.

FFS, I wish all these people would put their egoes aside and just accept that they're just as bad as everyone else. And these are Europe's biggest clubs too (well, Spurs aren't, despite their delusions of grandeur). It's not as if they're Cardiff City and they're losing a player like Aaron Ramsay that their fans would have hoped to enjoy watching for years to come.

How is that any different from Madrid's very public courtship of Ronaldo?

I have to agree here, its shocking how much of the romance is going out of football, but no-one seems to want to admit how professional it is.

I still cant believe that the concept of "tapping up" can be frowned upon by any big club... They all do it through media anyway...

Cristiano Ronaldo wears pink shirts. Thats how its different...

Surely we are signing a left back, someone anyone. COME BACK HENRI CAMARA!!!!!!
