I would imagine with sport and how it's split around gender lines?
Also other institutions like schools etc
Also that individual case of which bathrooms to use?
A lot of places differentiate on gender

To be treated as folk with a mental illness. Not as SJW victims du jour.

I mean, c'mon. Transgenders represent less than 1% of the population and are the latest "victim" being championed by the cultural Marxists in their quest to destroy the Greco-Roman-Christian philosophical and cultural roots of normative Western society. White, heterosexual family values are anathema to these SJW zealots.

These folk needs psychiatric treatment. But no doubt will take part in women's teams in the Olympics.

The irony of it all re the feminazis is so funny.

McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that "people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder".

"Greco-Roman cultural roots" are probably not the best example you could use when talking about homosexuality, transexualism and transgenderism.

are just subjective conditioning norms that are a relatively recent invention and manufactured artificially and no way the normal to the vast bulk of human history and experience.

Wow. Nobody wants to destroy anything. People deserve a fair go no matter their orientation. End of story. Doesn't matter if their interior gender matches their exterior one or not. As kirsti said earlier treating everyone with the same dignity and respect that we ourselves would like to be treated with is a start.

Apologies if this sounds self-righteous but I think to live in a world of decency, actual human decency, we need to let go of these social-exclusionary thoughts of times past.

I see this thread has just reverted again to people trying make others feel shame for not agreeing with them on this rather than addressing arguments they have no answer for.

Heck Gough flat out knows the contradictory positions he holds are untenable so has just dodged the same question several times.

Kirsti seems to take the position of "Am I out of touch? No it's the Doctors who are wrong."

The whole argument I am seeing come from another side of this issue actually has no scientific basis and seems to be "lets be nice to these disadvantaged people that we have pity for" and "you are all arseholes if you disagree".

Would anyone like to answer whether a person who was born biologically male who believes they are female but still maintains the advantages male bone structure should be able to compete in a weightlifting contest under the womens division and smash a bunch of records?

I see noone gives a shit about women who have trained for years to compete in a weightlifting contest being destroyed by a competitor with a biologically advantageous bone structure.

Are the people that support the injustice faced by those female competitors arseholes?

Maybe, but I'm also right. It took people coming out for others to realise that gay people are no different to them, this will also happen with trans people in the years to come, and attitudes like yours will be considered antiquated, and bigoted.

I already described a situation where a colleague of mine was bullied by a transgender woman for not using the correct pronouns (threat of job loss, etc). Thankfully the transgender woman, who caused more grief through her solipsistic view of the world than anyone else and was a fraudulent malingerer was moved on.

Since 2002 the transgender community have been protected in the workplace as such it is against the law to use incorrect pronouns or mimic the walk or talk of another transgender employee. I suggest you former trans co-worker was not the bully in this case more then likely the woman that that refused to use the correct pro nouns was doing the bullying.

The person involved was Chinese and had less than perfect grasp of English. He had no idea what he had done wrong. The company eventually twigged that the trans person involved spent most of their time policing other people's language in between taking sick days.

Screw the law - as Sally McManus said, some times workers should break unjust laws.
