There's already a large body of psychological work that explains why some people are more predisposed to being religious, among many other characteristics such as political affiliation. I'm also not categorically saying the links are causal in any particular direction, just that if people actually care about others' wellbeing, this is something they should be aware of, lest the zeal for inclusivity leave those behind that aren't best served by unquestioning celebration.

This isn’t helpful to anybody. Everything about this movement looks like a classic divide and conquer. It was a cornerstone strategy of the Bolsheviks, but it’s been used by the right and left alike. Keep the masses distracted and angry and fighting with each other while the wealthiest 0.1% keep mopping up more of the wealth.

The fact that there is never any cordial debate isn’t an accident imo. Just extremes from both sides advertised to create tension. As a result they have you so angry you are apparently OK with punching women in the face.

All you can seem to focus on are “Nazi’s”. Here are the “Nazi’s” at that Moira Deeming event, getting police protection so they can have a lovely little photo opportunity. The real question you should be asking is why are “Nazi’s” repeatedly receiving police protection? It’s almost like they are a wanted presence.

It has already been pointed out that TERFs are not just women

Kind of sick of the both sides argument when one side is trying to remove the rights or existence of the other side.

No. You are just as bad if not worse than the people you are against. You just focus on an extreme and pretend that is a representation of people who think differently than you.

So I'm as bad or worse than people trying to
Remove trans peoples right to public spaces
Remove trans peoples right to medical treatment
Refuse to use the name, pronouns or gender the trans person uses for themselves.
Calls all trans people sexual predators, deviants or pedophiles
Publicy wish death on trans people
Pass or try to pass laws that impact trans and cis kids
Work with nazis and anti abortion campaigners

I'm as bad or worse than those people because I stand with trans people against all of that and don't get upset at the idea that some of those people might get punched in the face as a consequence of their actions?

Interesting way of balancing the scales you got there
 
Yeah Four Corners sure does know how to pick them.



Kenny talked about rainbow rooms and social contagion.

They showed Spencer running the experimental drugs line.

Guess they thought showing her saying a government conspiracy with rainbow lanyards to trans your kids might have made her seem a little less credible.

And Courtney has also gone down the rabbit hole it seems

Conclusions. Limited evidence suggests that physical performance of non-athletic trans people who have undergone GAHT for at least 2yrs approaches that of cis controls. Further controlled longitudinal research is needed in trans athletes and non-athletes.

I finished that video - albeit the last half hour in the background - and the gross Tweets from the TERFs don't stop. The celeb TERFs bringing new fashy peeps into the inner circle.

Those two are clowns. We know that. And I'm sure they have some followers who do think in extremes. They'd be just as clownish.

But these people and events have strong followings and many active white knights online defending them. But, like I said, the "academic" transphobes don't like the single-issue people... until they get clout then some of the elites warm to them.

Cis is a label generally used by those in trans advocate/ LGTBI spaces, and to those outside of those spaces could be felt as demeaning/ disempowering (a label you put on me without my consent type of thing).
Some views would say the majority don't have any right to complain about this type of labelling.

Yeah but everyone has a name. Only a tiny minority of people have an inner perception that they are some other gender than male or female, and that it is therefore rude of anyone to assume they are like almost every other person they have met, ever.

Insisting that one be addressed with specific terms has mostly been the prerogative of kings and queens and judges.

So you're complaining that people without power are asking you to respect their wishes.

The rude part comes in if after you find out you used the wrong pronouns you continue to do so.

I assume you're old enough to remember people complaining about women correcting them on Miss/Mrs/Ms

Were you whinging about that one as well? Or did you think that one was fine

How often do you actually use pronouns to refer to someone? I mostly just use their name. It’s a pretty minor inconvenience really, we're just used to the luxury of not having to ask, unlike a name, where we do have to ask
