Would be utterly hilarious if they gave the role to Walls. Would prove they've learnt nothing after nearly 2 decades of mediocrity.

Can't see it happening though.

Umpire makes shocking incorrect non call on Liam Jones mark. Coach loses job.

It was a pulsating last quarter, both sides had so many opportunities to win the game, I reckon the non mark call was critical.
What about the GC forward who marked it just before that and wasn't paid as well?

Apparently some whispers around that Robert Walls may be asked to step in and play a more active coaching and game day role at Carlton.

Patience is already starting to wear thin, and there's some talk the Blues may look to Walls in place of Bolton as its believed a change of message to the players may be required.

Concerning if true, surely Carlton won't look to put Walls in a head coach
Carlton would be equally better off putting an actual Brick Wall in as coach
