Travel to Melbourne about 2/3 times per year and might jag a Brisbane or Sydney game.

Very glad Tiger Airways are up about again or it becomes a very expensive exercise.

Usually go to two interstate games a year.

Been going to Sydney since 2006. Highly recommend that one, since, you know, we never lose xD.

Was suppose to go to GC last year but booked with Tiger, whole grounding fiasco, missed out. Shattered.

Will do Sydney again this year and possibly Adelaide.

Would love to go Perth one year though.

I've been to Adelaide, Sydney and Canberra (late 90's) to see the team play, and it's a great experience.

Sydney is the standout trip, only because it's to Sydney, and there's so much to do leading up to the match.

Would love to go to Perth or Brisbane/GC one year, they wouldn't be any worse then Sydney IMO.

I went for the first time last year. Left Melbourne early Friday morning to go to Adelaide for the Port match on Saturday night. Not much too do there but it was good to get away. We had great seats 2nd row from the front on the wing and it was pouring down with rain. Im going to go to either GC match or Sydney this year.

I remember that. it was an appalling game - a huge blowout - and shocking weather. Did you think the trip was really worth it?

Never - Have not enough Money and no where to stay(Except Maybe WA)

Hey TD, not sure of what your budget would be, but in another thread I mapped out a $220 plan for sightseeing and watching the game in Sydney this weekend.

The Swans game is in August this year, and if you get in early and you do your homework then you could probably get it even cheaper. And maybe even get a flight up here for a reasonable price.

I have foxtel so I don't really have a Massive Problem

My first interstate game was the GC last year. Thinking of going to another interstate game this year, haven't decided which though.

I go up for the Sydney game most years. Not sure if I'll get up there this year but will definitely try to! Always great fun and we always win. :p

Went to the GC match last year and it was brilliant! A real carnival amosphere and the facilities and ground were fantastic. It's a shame we don't play GC at Metricon stadium again this season as I would've made the trip again.

I'm now planning a trip to the Gabba for the Brisbane match in May. My wife has friends about an hour out of Brisbane, so free accomodation and the kids can come up too. We're going to make a long weekend out of it.

I've never experienced the Gabba and I have a deep hatred for the Lions, so it will hopefully be a big win for the boys.

Make sure you get your tickets early for that one. I tried to go to that game recently and it was a sellout.
