No idea. But he wouldn't be the only player we've played while injured this year.If he was carrying something why would we play him this week?

I'm maybe insensitive to his issues but do we want a captain to telegraph weakness to our competitors?
As far as I'm concerned if he chooses to play, he is 100% fit and should be leading the team with no compromises to attitude.
Have any other our previous captains had a sulk post a form slump?
Piss off to your own stinky yellow and brown boardPort's slump needs no explanation,it's simply NOWHERE NEAR GOOD ENOUGH.great lack of skills all round and still suffering from too many BIGHEADS . simple as that.

This is the same bloke who had some ridiculous like 13 touches and 7 clearances in the last quarter of Showdown 35, as well as many other similar clutch performances late in close games over 2013-2014. The leadership ability is well and truly there. I don't know where it's gone this year, but at his best he's up there with the best captains in the league. Would be premature to strip him of the captaincy after one bad year, especially an evidently injury affected one.
Trengove or Hombsch ?We literally have no one who could replace him. Maybe ebert?
Dead set...the dude has some serious runs on the board in terms of leading from the front.
We are a steaming pile of shit at the moment so what exactly do you want him to say ?? Media is an obligation, especially as captain.
He's not going to slaughter his club, his coaches and his teammates for the position we are in as that's not the way it's done.
He and every other player or coach that has to front the media will toe the diplomatic line as they always have.
I'm not sure what some people expect to hear at pressers or media in general.
100% negative. Didn't even give us a chance.

i agree, he deserves another shot at captain if he wants to go on. But that interview was like a funeral
Whats his injury? No1 has said anything and any rumours of it have been flat out denied. This is the same bloke who had some ridiculous like 13 touches and 7 clearances in the last quarter of Showdown 35, as well as many other similar clutch performances late in close games over 2013-2014.
