There is so little chance of this happening that it's not even worth your time discussing.
I remember Port fans saying the same things the year Stevens walked out. Guess we'll just have to sit back and see what unfolds, and while you're right in that there is little chance of it happening, we won't know for sure until we make a call and ask.

I don't think Boak will leave at all, but if he does I'm confident that he's not going to say 'Richmond or nothing'.
Agree with this. Hope he doesn't go for your sake. I like seeing clubs draft and nurture their own talent (although we have not been very good at it). We are dreaming if we think we will get him for nothing.

Actually the Port board is one of the very few that you go on and talk frankly without incurring a red card like you do on others (ummm Carlton, Bulldogs to name two).
He's posted within the rules and guidelines. We should welcome honest debate here frrom the opposition, particularly when the thread was as a subtle as a sledgehammer. I'd hate for our board to turn into a mother's club like the Carlton one.
Spot on. We're talking about a Port player, we should welcome Port points of view.

I'd say the only way we'll get him is via the PSD. Either we convince him to walk into it or we use that possibility to get Port to accept a deal on our terms, something like our second rounder plus Edwards springs to mind. They'll want our first pick, which we sure as hell won't part with, so hopefully they'll reject our counter offer and we get Boak for nothing. It all depends on selling the club to Boak, of course, but it would be a huge win for us and a massive step in the rebuild.

They let Stevens walk for nothing on principal. Will be interesting IF he comes out and says he wants to go to the club on the bottom. Can't see it happening personally so people on here need to get their hands off it. The RFC deals honourably in trade week.

Plus i think that if Gold coast dont use all their allocation of signing uncontracted players it gives them first picks on any uncontracted player nominating for the PSD (up to a total of 16 uncontracted signings)
