Now that we could get this guy for next to nothing, do you think it'd be worth it?

We have Apeness and Tabs improving well, and potentially McCarthy coming in, but if Cloke came for nothing maybe he'd be a good decoy. Play him out of the square. He'd still have to take the best defender - even as a crap player he still has one of the best contested marks around. Just might take some pressure of our kids with Pav now gone.

He's embarrassing with his kicking, but I wonder if it'd be worth it now seeing as maybe he'd be available for a cheap pick.

Because like I said, it may just allow our kids to develop better. Cloke would still demand the opposition's best key back which would take a weight off our kids. Just a 2 year deal

Taberner can't get a game the last 2 weeks because an old bloke is taking his spot. The last thing we need is to bring in another old bloke to take his or Apeness' spot.

Funnily enough I went and watched Cloke at the VFL today and his kicking for goal was perfect! His field kicking was pretty average, and he spent most of the game standing around pointing at people.
