Funnily enough I went and watched Cloke at the VFL today and his kicking for goal was perfect! His field kicking was pretty average, and he spent most of the game standing around pointing at people.

Once you start standing and pointing you know its all over (Johnson excepted). I got to nearly even game the season Robbie Fowler played for Glory (didn't have my first child till the following year! All other live sport passes have been suspended since with a dispensation only for Freo 'cause I'm obsessed) and all he did was point for 6 months (if you don't count getting slowly slight fatter). He also scored the only 'stationary' hattrick I have ever seen. The only one he had to move more than 3 feet for was a penalty (which from memory he missed but the save bounced straight back to him, again hardly having to move, and he scored on the rebound. Classic).

Hopefully the soccer has moved on from the time any old/fat former champion could get a gig. Cahill should be the norm now, older but still playing brilliant football.
