I would lol hard if a club that already has Taylor Walker and Kurt Tippett threw 1 million a year a Travis Cloke.

Well they believe that Tippet is already lost to Brisbane or Gold coast.

After watching Cloke again last night it is a big NO for mine.

Unless the club had the coin that wasnt going to be used I wouldn't touch him as he is not worth the money he is asking for.

Still think getting Chaplain up back, getting three mids inside pick 30, and then moving Griff up forward, will be the best result for the RFC long term. More so than getting Cloke.

in the position he was in Bazzar I would be dissapointed if he didn't take that grab infact I would be dissapointed if I didn't take that grab.

That said it was a terrible night for the forwards and they were playing against the best defense in the comp.

I think he did ok with limited opportunities

This is my issue Amcre, I completely agree. Trav would be lucky to be in their best five players again last night. A situation he finds himself in most weeks and yet he wants to walk into a club as their best paid player. No wonder Collingwood have had a gutful.

Yes I'd take him - at an acceptable price. The odd big mark aside, most would have his market value dropping by the week.

Cloke has struggled IMO because Dawes has stunk it up most of the season. So clubs just don't pay any attention to him and just focus on stopping Cloke. If he comes to us sides can't just sit on him as they have to worry about Riewoldt as well. Think of it like the Hawks with Buddy and Roughy, sides can't just sit on one of them which means the double and triple teaming that happens to Cloke and Jack now without any viable alternative to take heat off them.

Why would we want him when we can get by with your boy Post up forward at a third of the price, with a fifth of Cloke's output!!
RT73 is on the money ...... Cloke in the line-up would see an end to the double and triple teaming of Riewoldt every week and would give us a damn potent forward line!

Cloke will stay at the Pies IMO, and if he goes anywhere will most likely be Carltscum.

Spark, like Ablett, Scully, Judd and many others who had a contract in front of them for a season and failed to come to terms, I think Cloke and the Pies are just about done. I'd say Trav is trying really hard to stitch the right deal elsewhere, which he will probably get and go.

Knowing Carlton, I would say they'd be front runners. I can't imagine someone like Trav moving away from family to interstate. At the price he's named, I don't want him, but many clubs do, including ours.

I honestly don't know how this guy is valued so much. He cant kick for one which a forward needs to do. If you had a choice between CLoke AND Tom Hawkins for say 900 k a season for 5 who would you prefer? Don't get me wrong i would luv to see him in the yellow and black,but 2 much money better spend somewhere else.

My mail is still spot on Malthouse and Cloke to Carlton.
I also think my opinion only and it's just that an opinion,next year same time will be wondering the same things who to get who not to get what went wrong bla bla.
