Yep agree mate, i hope the Tigers chase him hard and we get him, i actually thought he may stay at the Pies but im not so sure now , I bet though if he does go Carltscum will nab him.

Tonight whispers said the word is Melbourne have gone 7 x 7.1m.

That is so ludicrous if true. I read a few weeks back on the melb board that it was 6 x 6 and i thought that was a joke, but 7 x 7.1.

As much as i would love him at the Tiges i would be outraged if this was even rumored for us and would be straight on to the phone and emailing the club in protest.

Its staggering. And generally whispers isnt in to wild speculation as it would be a bit of a backward step for the whole concept, but this shocked me, and what shocked me even more was minimal feed back on it. If it was about the Tiges, the switchboard would have gone onto meltdown.

Do you mean 7 years at 1.1m? 7 years is unheard of these days due to the risk of that amount of money in your cap going to one player for such a long period of time, cannot see that being the case but as it is melbourne who knows.

Like you still very keen on cloke. Would have an enormous flow on effect with our whole forwardline and straighten us up enormously, plus the amount of joy I would get out of beating collingwood with cloke at chf is unmeasurable haha
 
How old is he? 7 years **** me!!! Don't recall a contract that long since lynchs at the bears.

Melb may as well fold now if that's a real attempt. How many current players were on our list 7 years ago??? Newman and Deledio???

Too much Change in 7 years to tie up a player that long

Our problem position but he's not worth thr money he wants 1 million a year... I would rather go for a bargin basement player like fev...get him to lose some weight, change his attitude like we did with cousins, then you have 50 plus goal plus a year player for "peanuts" on min wage!

7 years hey? If true (which I truthfully doubt it is), it will be the most ridiculous deal in the history of the AFL then VFL!
How would a 7 year (7.7million) contract affect the existing Demon playing list???
No wonder there is something like 10-11 players still yet to put pen down on paper!

How long ago was this deal done RT73. Times have a changed. Anything over 5 is ludicrous with even 5 being a stretch. Especially with the ACL injury rate we have in our game.
