:pLMAO at everyone taking pot shots at the Hun for this.
If Astbury or Post served up a game like this today, this board would go into overdrive about how we have the next Royce Hart or wayne Carey, but when it's Cloke it can be overlooked.
It was a damn impressive outing from Cloke last night - regardless of whether he coes to Richmond or not, or if we are even interested.
Under-selling it achieves nothing!

I agree. As a depth player I don't mind White. Definitely not the worst on our list and there are quite a few others i would cut before White. Ideally he won't play next year but i wouldnt be against keeping him on the list 1 more year.

Say Jack Riewoldt was on the open market right now, would he be worth more or less than Cloke?

I think you'd have to say more, right?

So are we paying Jack $1 million a year? Are we even paying him $700k a year? I doubt it.

Is it really worth paying over the odds for him? Because the only way we would get him is by paying over the odds. Personally i'd like to see Carlton play that game.

Cloke could be a great addition for us. But I can't help but think (as I have said before) that he is over hyped because since the year dot he was going to be a Collingwood player, and 'the best of all the Clokes'.

Personally i'd rather us chase someone else as a free agent. And there are some good players out there besides Cloke.

Can I just say, Whitey made my boys day on Sunday. I saw Matty, biggie and Angus walking towards us, and I prompted my boy to say hello to matt. He went a bit sheepish, but said said it anyway. Matty looked at him and said g'day mate back. Big smile and looked at him. Little fella was wrapped he spoke to a tiger.
Big thanks to Rusty and Jo in the tiger cheersquad who let my boy sit with them, front row of the cheersquad for the second half. I have a photo of him waving one of those Pom Pom things when jack kicked the goal to win the Coleman. Great stuff..

Can anyone come up with a list of some of next year's potential FA's?

As I've said, don't see why we need to blow our proverbial load in the first year.

3AW last night. Said if Cloke is on the market they would definitely look at him as quality big key forwards are hard to come by. Strange thing is he was talking as a "potential" Carltank coach. Its in the bag, Malthouse and Cloke at the blues next year.

Iam not looking forward to Cloke in a Tankers jumper, Malthouse as coach, the club and supporters full on and ready to go playing us in round 1. Bad feeling.

Thanks to a poster at another board - here's a list of potential FA's at the end of 2014.

JSelwood, Gibbs, Jack R, Titch Edwards, Boak, Frawley, Leuenberger, Ben Reid, Armitage, Goldstein, Tippett if he stays at Adelaide, Eric MacKenzie, Schofield, David Mackay, Robbie Gray, Wellingham, Leigh Adams, Jamison, Suckling.

Is it just me or is there a class of players who are missing? This year it was Deledio, Cloke etc's draft year (2004) who were the youngest eligable. This list contains many players from the '06 draft. I would've thought they'd be eligible in 2 years time, with the 2005 draft class the youngest eligible next year.

Yes, at the end of 2014 is what I said. 2 years time. Unfortunately the poster I quoted didn't say anything about next year's crop of eligible FA's.
