Include? Of course, but I would be extremely dissapointed if they were into that. And if you are suggesting that players from the PAFC engaged in drug taking during 2004, i suggest you get proof of keep your mouth shut.

Youre a bit paranoid are you? I wasnt suggesting that at all.

I am saying despite the issues WC have off the field, they are good enough to keep it together on the field.

I ask you this question, if Port won last years premiership, would you be that cut that they take drugs in their spare time?

YES!!!

Whether players like it or not they are role models for young, impressionable minds and to promote that type of lifestyle doesn't make it easier for the parents, caregivers and educators who will ultimately be responsible for putting this drug taking culture into some type of sense-making context. That and a complete lack of discipline displayed by the club only helps to exacerbate the problem which will only get worse when kids see drug use as an acceptable form of physical enhancement.

Cocaine makes the user feel invincible and prone to attempt stupid life threatening acts which can backfire in the worst possible way imaginable.

To defend or ignore these acts is tantamount to condoning it, which in itself is an indefensible position to take.

If my team (the only team for true south australians) was doing this I would demand action and lobby for support from my fellow barrackers to ensure that this problem was seen to at the highest level possible to maximise the probability that this problem would be curtailed.

If you are ignoring this epidemic and are content to continue to bask in the glory of your most deserving premiership then you are and will remain part of the problem instead of instigating a way of becoming part of the solution!

This is funny considering there was a Port player whose name was withheld in one of the worst kept secrets of the footy world when players were busted for positive tests.

What amazes me is that certain obviously dim-wited individuals who have no contact with the club at all think they know more about that certain club that its' captain. Stop trying to pass the focus from your own club.

Threads like this are absolutely ridiculous. You may not like the guy, but don't attack everything he says. You would want your captain doing the exact same thing.

It's time for some people to grow up.

That is the same thing you say over and over again to any crows supporter that posts anything in bay 13.

So why are you in bay 13 anyway because according to your logic no supporter should pass judgment on any other team because they either dont support that team or arent an actual part of that team. If you believe what you are saying you should only be on the PAFC boards because that is all you believe you are allowed to discuss.

Listen I dont take drugs, dont believe the players should either. But ultimately I am a football follower. If my team had just won the flag, and the drugs werent performance enhancing, I would not let it stop me watching the replay over and over. And so would 95% of supporters.

That wasnt cocaine though, he was just doing a bit of choofing :p

This guy is a complete tool. The following are his comments in todays Advertiser regarding whether there are any drug issues at ALberton. Obviously this guy has absolutely no contact with the playing group what so ever (which is not surprising considering they all hate him). We all know who the three players are who tested positive for cocaine 3 times last year. It seems that Tredders is either oblivous to this or is in complete denial. Based on the footy club he comes from I would say the latter.

Once again this guy opens his mouth and sprouts off utter rubbish. No wonder he is a poor leader!!

"I know for a fact the guys at our group are ones that choose not to go down that (drugs) road.

"You can never actually be 100 per cent sure. But from what I hear and what I'm seeing, (drugs) is definitely not the case down here at Alberton."

That was speculation. I don't ever remember hearing or reading any OFFICIAL annoucement from the AFL that those players names who were speculated to be in the drug controversy was true. I don't remember any official annoucement from the AFL saying, yes, those players named are in fact the ones who were done for drugs.

So until there is an official announcement, the players named will only be speculation.

Troy don't try and defend him, it was quite obvious who it was... the AFL hasn't released details because they haven't named any recreational drug users which is a bit of a disgrace really.

Everybody knows who the Port Power player was, including yourself, stop doing a Tredders and living in denial.

You are a sad and unfortunate reflection of your football club, do you have to be slapped in the face with something before you acknowledge its existence. Your attitude reflects the culture of your football club, absolute denial and dismissive of everything. Its no wonder your supporters embace and celebrate mediocrity so easily.

Its as bad as Choco saying that Peter Burgoyne is a role model.
