Tredrea vs Hall

Tredrea has been a gun in the two games this year (unfortunately he was inaccurate against sydney though, but everything else has been really good), now that he finally has the chance to play his first proper season of football since his B&F in 2005.

Can't really say anything about Hall because I only watched him during the last match.

If you try and watch port unbiasedly (i know we're a hated club haha), I'm certain you'll see just how well tredrea has been playing so far.
If you try and watch Port unbiased, you'll see Tredrea is finished.

Whose got the most left to give in their career?

And will either player rise up anywhere near their prior dominant forward status?

To be honest it's hard to see one player giving more than the other atm. Tredders is getting back into form and Hall has had some interesting surgery over the break so both should have bigger years this year and beyond.

As for the games:goals business, it's a weak argument. You simply can't judge the impact or how better a player is purely by how many goals they score. The role hall plays at sydney can't be compared to tredders at port. The two teams have different forward structures. For example, port has a greater distribution of goal kickers than sydney who rely heavily on hall and mick.

Watching the recent Swans vs port game made me realise that Hall can make brilliant comebacks after major, form-threatening injuries

There is of course one piece of irrefutable, indisputable evidence that utterly disproves the laughable notion that Tredrea isn't still a force:

Tredrea has made a good start to the season. hes moving well, getting a lot of the footy and kicking/giving off goals. obviously the 4 behinds straight in the 2nd qtr against sydney didnt look too good.

Lol urself. Hall's best is superior to tredrea's. has better career stats and a better presence on the ground.
plus warren is just a knob. haha his name is warren.

Hall's name is Barry - not sure which one is worse although they are both heinously bogan names.

I will be expecting bigger and better things going forward from Tredrea. The first 3 matches he has played this year have probably been against the 3 toughest defensive opponents. Geelong, which goes without saying, Sydney - just look how Jono Brown performed on the weekend against the swan defence and Adelaide where Rutten has always had his measure. He has played okay and kicked poorly against his 3 toughest opponenets. I have no doubt if he can get his kicking boot going he will kick about 60 goals this year. Hall can probably do the same. Both great players.

In their prime, who would I take, probably Tredrea.
