Ps folks Jamie is never to demonstrative.
Anyone who reads anything into that is confusing themselves.

If by some quirk of fate our number 5 was in the poos with one former number 5 (not maxwell, wearmouth, price etc) who coaches it would be all over the news, papers, caro would lay an egg, patrick wouls salivate, slob would get drunk (wait a minute he already is) etc etc

Imagine if news on Treloar went quiet and everyone reported that it was a done deal? Might get a touch boring so suits Waldron to pick up on any little thing and say that the deal is in trouble.
Truth is, it's either done or there's some haggling still going on. No different to any ther sizeable trade.

The deal is already done, I'm quite confident of that.

What I'm not confident of is what the deal actually is.

Treloar didn't tell the club yesterday that he was leaving, that was all a formality, they knew it for months, and so did the Pies and Treloar's management.

It will cost us pick 7, we know that, plus probably Witts and a cherry on top.

I guarantee you we aren't trading a first select 22 player to get Treloar, because it defeats the purpose of the trade for us.
Effectively that is almost certainly what pick 7 will be.

I'm the person that posted that Richmond felt they had their man via a Tigers source. The next day KB stated Treloar to Tigers. They are devastated and Treloars manager has done a great job getting him the best pay packet he could by keeping Tigers involved.

Waters are being muddied as a last ditch effort by the Tigers. Their mouth pieces in the media- KB, Richo, Warner - are all on side, so hold onto your britches the next few weeks - these sources it will do your head in if you allow them to shift your focus from the obvious- he picked us, that is all you need to remember.

Having a very informed decision maker as a source within the Tigers I can tell you KB sets up issues to be discussed with an outcome in mind. Waldron owes him big time as no one would touch him after the Storm stuff and he has jumped on board to help with the Treloar issue.

BEEG you obviously know Waldron (not sure how close) and not bagging him but I know that the KB show is worked out with the 'guests' / 'experts' to set up agenda's as required.

Only a ridiculous decision by the Pies to not provide the necessary compensation to GWS will lead to us missing out.

Yeah KB at the end of the day is only trying to attract listeners and stir the pot and he has a great forum to do so on SEN.

He would find extra happiness in linking star players to his beloved Tigers but in the end Richmond was just a suitor, Treloar was linked to us since way back.

Is there any other teams?
Thanks for the update good4footy

I might have to stay off here and Twitter for the next month. Not sure I can deal with all this speculation and misinformation. Hurry up trade week.

This could also explain why Richmond seem to be targeting others we have been linked to. Haven't they got a finals game to play this week. I know if the Pies were playing this week I wouldn't be engaging in trade talk on here.

Best thing to remember is that it is very rare - especially these days - that players do not get to where they want to. GWS will ask for two first rounders and when push comes to shove we will do it across 2015 & 2016.

That suggests we have all our other pieces in place which I don't think is true so hopefully we can land a couple of others via free agency or trade... Our first rounder for 2 years running is a stiff price to pay.
