Yeah he is frustrating, he can do things that no other Hawthorn player can do but he goes missing far to often. We need some consistency out of him. He'll get there i think, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I'll bet he wishes he was sitting on the BMW & not the wooden bench today:D :D :D

Good thing he's playing for a decent club like Hawthorn. The Pussy Cats are another disgrace to the game. When was their last premiership again? 1963 was it? I'll have ask my great Grandfather about it.

Polly PAUPER Farmer scavages money a couple years back.

Ablett should be behind bars the druggie.

Croad is 30 and he owns a BMW and has a good head on his shoulders.

Hmmmm. Pick witch of the above playes for Hawthorn.

Young Trent had a lot of mates out there today, in both jumpers, who were impersonating footballers.
However unlike some others here, I don't want to crucify him, nor the others, on the basis of a bad game:(

.

We know Croads struggling but you don't have to age him by about 10 years.

BTW,just as well he's got a good head, because his footys skills have gone AWOL:D

For one, he's 21
and two, im a fan of him on the field, but off the field im not a fan. He's one of those guys that has let footy go to his head.

He is another Daniel Bandy in the making.
Sure you will all laugh at that comment. But believe me Daniel Bandy had the makings, and still has the makings to take the competition by storm. And 6 foot + player that is as fast as some of the fastests midfielders going around, has an enormous vertical leap and can run all day without tiring. Not to mention is a long and accurate kick, is in a league of there own.

Bandy is strong in all areas of football, he is a true ATHELETE and like croad would have excelled in any sport he played.

But he, still cannot be consired a footballer. He lacks the vision and football brain of a Haselby,Ratten or Harvey.Players that arnt overly quick, or tall.Players that lack the physical attribute that bandy or croad has.But have unbelievable vision and football brains.

Croad like bandy will spend his career being a player of promise and potential.

ummmmmm

I think it was Ablett wasn't it ?

ptw

hahaha come on, Croad is no Bandy. Has Bandy ever taken a game by the scruff of the neck? NO. Croady has, we all know he has ability, it will come for him. Peter Schwab plays him at FF, CHF, FB, CHB and on the ball in virtually every game he has played. He will benefit when Barker and Holland come back against the Roos because then he can finally play in his true position of CHB for 4 quarters.

Kouta wasn't a natural footballer either, it takes time to learn.

I thought Croady's comments were pretty silly yesterday, Dermie's influence seems to be rubbing off!

But he's still a good player, and would walk into any other side in the competition. And JubJub, if we are talking about players been overrated, doesn't the name Clint Bizzell come to mind? :)

Croady can play the game, and he has suggested that on the field, and the problem to why he isn't playing as well as what he can is because he gets moved around far to much, he needs to be either in the forward line or the defence, personally would love to see him in the midfield.!!!

yeah good on ya.... IDIOT!

Croad is a good young talent, but i don't think he will ever be in the top echelon of players, he and Tredrea, have been on the verge of superstardom for 3 years now, and neither have yet to deliver.

Both will be a Mitchell White type player, a very good reliable player, but never quite able to enter the top ranks for a consistent period.

He has all the attributes at the moment.... save one.

The ability between his ears is missing. Comments like that made yesterday do nothing but reinforce for all to see whenever he has a poor game. It is shirking the responsibility he alone must take if he is ever going to become what i believe he is capable of becoming, that is a fantastic FOOTBALLER.

Nick Holland is an athlete playing footy. What he has done through sheer hard work and determination, has turned him into one of the best key forwards in the game. Trent needs to look no further than the bloke that is at training with him and go by Nicks example. Otherwise he is in danger of becoming someone who never truly (and i still think he will be, as windy said, handy probably a bit more than handy) fufilled his potential.
