He does play taller than advertised. I hope he gets a run of a few games and we can see a bit more of him. Agree with the comments about him having an AFL ready body, because as we’ve seen over the years, that’s never a sure thing; Brad Dick, Jackson Ramsay, Tim Broomhead... maybe Nathan Murphy but I hope not... they never got there.

Kelly was poor apart from one goal from 50 that fell into his lap, barely touched the ball after that.

I think Ruscoe showed a lot more and could've easily finished with 3 well earned goals.

My gut feel watching it live, it was tunnelling.
Unfortunately it‘s allowed more often than not.
PS: not sure why you need to compare “deserving goals” for our own players?

Really liked what I saw. Hunted the man, was in the right position a lot for a youngster (even though his leads were often ignored), and he got a lot of the footy. A couple of missed shots at goal, but he wasn't Robinson Crusoe there

Great debut from a very determined kid.Hopefully he will get midfield time which is his best position.

For pick 55 think we’ve found a keeper. Great first game. Shows he has what it takes, give him 2 years of development and see what he becomes. Kids still only 18!

With him and kelly I can see a better forward line future.

A player was caught holding the ball and the ball rolled out of the tackle to Kelly, with no opponent, who turned around and kick it from 50 under no pressure.

Nice goal, but highly fortuitous
