Power kicking off season later than planned

The Port Adelaide Football Club has been forced to push back the starting time of its 2004 Power Kick Off, which incorporates the club’s internal trial game, due to forecasts of extreme heat.
At this point the weather bureau is forecasting a 40-plus degree day for this Saturday, 14 February, which would make conditions difficult for both the players in the trial game, and the supporters standing out in the extreme heat.
Accordingly, the club has decided to move the trial game from a 4.30pm start to a 7pm start. Gates will open at 6pm. There will still be some fun to be had with face painters, dunking machine, interviews and autographs both before and after the game. The night will finish with our 2004 guernsey presentation and some fantastic fireworks at approximately 9.30pm.
Given the change to our program, the club will not charge supporters and members for the 2004 Power Kick Off. Entry is now free, with a gold coin donation welcomed.
Saturday’s internal trial will be the first chance supporters have to see the players running around in the new CLASH guernsey (yet to be unveiled). It will also be their first opportunity to purchase the CLASH guernsey, which will be sold through the Power Gear Shop.
The run down for the night is as follows…
6:00pm – gates open
6:00pm - 7:00pm – activities including face painting, dunking machine (with well known Power identities!), player interviews plus autograph opportunities with players not playing in the trial game
7:00pm - 8.30pm – internal trial game (one team wearing new CLASH guernsey)
8.30pm - 9:00pm – further fun activities (similar to 6-7pm)
9:00pm - player guernsey presentation
9.30pm - fireworks, event concludes
Power fans can still enter a free draw to present a player with his 2004 guernsey on Saturday. All you have to do to enter is click
