I watched the triathlon from the job site at vic uni with other bulldog supporters and they seem to be having fun and they where working hard like i wasn't.The new building im working on i think the boy's will be using as a rehab centre when finished , all new gear and rooms for recovery to give us a edge over others. Hyperbaric chambers to get over injurys faster, science area to test player's fittness levels so we are catching up to the big clubs.

Lot of very strong bodies there .. but let's recognise that every team would have a similar set of builds.

I think the exciting part of the deal is that the fitness coaches have the nous to turn the hard work and sheer agony of body building into a bit of fun. The boys need to have some fun amongst the pain of these super tough pre seasons.

( Can anyone remember when everyone went home and onto the pxxx until February, came back fat and slack and then spent 6 weeks running around ovals to "regain fitness". Yah for the good old days ...)

And lets pray we don't cop some of the collateral damage i.e. season ending ACLs in the next few months..

Be careful when viewing these pictures. A female work colleague looked at me in a strange way as I was looking at the players. She thought I had jumped the fence, I had to explain that I am an avid follower of the dogs (but not how she thinks, not that there is anything wrong with that)

Doesn't Aker look huge !! Obviously they are all strong bodied but I thought his shoulders and upper body were quite amazing for a relatively short person (178 cm) Also impressed with his competing in all elements of the Triathlon. Bodes well for fitness and determination.

I think Aker would be wetting himself thinking of the protection and direction Hall will offer next year. If Aker can't hit Hall on the chest 3 times a match inside 50 I'll jump off the Bolte bridge. (maybe...) And on the other side of the picture I can see Aker picking up a couple of goals a week from packs that Hall dominates and breaks.

Hall will draw the best defender, other players will prosper and should create a back door entry inside 50 : )
A lot of attention will be on Hall, our deliveries will need to spot up other blokes.

Thanks, I've watched that a few times  :)

Ditto, those comments about Gia and Griff. And hats off to Aker.

We still don't know who won, do we?

The boys are all looking keen and in excellent nick. All our fingers and toes should be crossed for no preseason injuries.

No matter how "recovered" Crossy is, he'd have willed himself over the line up front.

But by the sounds of it, it was teams of 4 (I believe) working together. Each taking individual legs depending on their body condition.
As i was watching the guys do all the legs of the triathlon Cross was the only one running between each legs of the triathlon. As he was running most of the player's where reving him up saying go crossy im going to burn you off and laughing behind he's back as he ran to the next leg only to make he go faster .
