The only reason he got a game was because he was to play Sydney this week and the AFL want Sydney to win as much as possible to make the game appeal more to a rugby league dominated state.
I would accept the 1 week , if the tribunal were consistent. But they give libba who has a record ,5 weeks for a supposed king hit and give lloydy with no past record 1 week for that ! If Lloydy got 1 for that then libba should have got 15 !

Lloyd seems to recklessly hit someone each and every week!

Your a dickhead Easty if you think its a vendetta against the bombers. Just be thankful you arent without Allesio as well seeing as somehow he wasnt cited for hitting kingsley twice

Ahh come on!! This has got to be a wind up.

What a stupid statement. He got suspended because he is guilty. End of story.

ROFL, there's a point. How many losers are tearing up their betting slips tonight?

haha, your pathetic ! We have a very young team. Lloyd, Lucas, Henneman, Blumfield, Bolton, Caracella, Heffernan, Hille, The Johnsons, Mcveigh,Ramanauskas and Solomon are all young. Then you have our teenagers in Bullen,Bannister, Davies, Hunt and Richards who are all getting a good grounding and learning off our first team. You idiot mags.

I noticed after Lloyd, Lucas and Henneman, the rest of the youngsters you named were alphabetical. Still familiarising yourself with your new copy of the "AFL 2001" book?

Easty,

Seeing Essendon have so much depth, surely one player's absence won't make any difference to the result this week.

Makes you wonder why the AFL bothered to force Lloyd to hit someone and get himself suspended.

So Easty

One minute you say you have a superbly skilled young side that can beat anyone

and then the next minute you accuse the AFL / AFL Tribunal / Sydney Swans of somehow conspiring to keep Lloyd out of Fridays game ?

Make your mind up sleepy-brain !

And as if we need to to 'take-out' Lloyd anyway ? He simply has no idea how to kick goals at the SCG, we don't fear him - not in the slightest.

Wanna know why ? - because Lloyd is simply not good enough to win games off his own boot.

He is a reasonably good full forward, sure, I'll give hime that. He is pretty fast over 15 metres, has a good lead, is very manouvrable, has a reasonable grab and has very good accuracy.

But a game breaker he is most certainly not !

He couldn't bust a game open like a Lockett or a Carey or even a Molloy if he tried !

anyway Easty - keep it up mate - you look sillier and sillier with each and every gormlessly stupid post and I must sauy, you really know how to make the rest of us laugh !

cheers

Are these the same brand of kids we have been hearing about since 1990? And did **** all in the past 10 years? Essendon have an advantage as at least their youngsters have been around at premiership teams.

Really? The THIRTEEN he kicked at the SCG in 1999 (can't remember which round off the top of my head) not enuff?
It's a shame he's not playing, 'cos he and Schauble/Dunkley have had some good duels.

Still, it's going to be an awesome game - can't wait!
See you there BSA!

Sorry to be picky, but that was at the MCG, about Round 2 or 3 of that season.

I haven't seen enough of Lloyd at the SCG to add to the theory of him not knowing how to play there, so I'm not trying to prove a point.

Good pick up Darky.

Once again, eastaugh, your ill informed opinions are laid open for everyone to see.

I stand corrected!
There was a match (which I think was in 1999 for some reason) where he DID kick a bag at the SCG.

C'mon stats people, help me out here!!!!

Bannister and Hunt hahahahahahahahahaha! Sorry!

Wanna take a look at the younger Collingwood players as they have now be playing with each other for at least 2-3 seasons?

Its not about the one player, its how the play together.

Oh an Darky good pick up
