You may know that we get the weeknight show with him and Dave Gleeson. Thommo's fake laugh and some of his other schtick is kinda annoying. In fact, his fake stuff so 'good' that I expect him to have an FM breakfast spot pretty soon

I've noticed a really annoying thing that a lot of fm-types like him do: while other people are speaking, they constantly chime in with pointless rubbish like, "no way! How good?! Unreal! No, ya don't need that!", etc, etc. I wonder they're told to do it

Thommo seems to have a total incapability of allowing whoever he is on the show with, to have an uninterrupted sentence. Spot on with the inane phrases that pop into otherwise good stories from the likes of Gleeson. Ironic he was from Fresh FM because most of his schtick is very stale.

He has his moments but my bigger issue is doing it from Perth - half the time it feels like the others forget about him, and it just doesn’t feel as natural. Need to look elsewhere next year, Mitch Cleary did alright on the week but not sold.

Yeah feels like they were scrambling to get a replacement for Clark. Obviously his leaving was unexpected.

i don't mind Daniels, but as you say him being in Perth means it's not a long term solution.

Quite like Twomey of the media types, wonder if they could get him on next year.

Watching the game tonight, and at least Triple M aren't the only ones taking the piss during the ratings break.

It must be an incredible gig, most of these guys work 3-4 half days a week for maybe 30 weeks of the year, and they've still managed to normalise the mid-season non-ratings break.

Us lowbreed normal workers should be so lucky!
