After much searching through when each of the very small number of Aboriginal cricketers played, I believe the answer is Albert Marsh and John Henry.

I imagine if they're both fast bowlers with short careers that they were accused of chucking.

You win the prize sir. After plenty of mutterings about his action, Marsh was not allowed to play for NSW in the Shield, so the only matches he got to play were the non-Shield games - against Qld, WA, Tassie etc - and the MCC. He did all right against the MCC, and there was some call for him to be included in the Test team - but the attitude was 'If he's not good enough for NSW, he's not good enough for Australia'. The poms did not express much misgivings about his action. Apparently Monty Noble - chief selector and head supremo in NSW - had a set against Marsh.

I don't know much about Henry, except for, as you say, he was accused of chucking. Also, note the pleasing similarity of their respective innings in the match in question.

Is it true that when a batsman faces a no-ball or a wide it does not count in his "balls faced" stats?

It seems weird that you can potentially hit a four or six off a ball you "haven't faced".

If the striker hits the ball, the two batsman cross for a single, a throw is made at the stumps and the ball goes for 4 overthrows, the striker is duly awarded 5 runs.

Does the striker retain the strike next ball however?

What iconic cartoon character is named after a famous cricketer?

I was just taking a punt... Is he named after THE Don? If so do you know how that came to be?

Walt Disney saw a news article which said that Donald Bradman had scored a duck and decided he liked the alliteration of Donald Duck

With the new cricket season underway, I'll see whether it's worth reviving this thread.

Which batsman scored his 81st first class century in 1981, his 82nd century in 1982 and his 83rd century in 1983?
