Post in here with your witty bullshit and you will cop a card.

We're all hurting, we're all footy people just like you.

If you want to get your jollys that way, enjoy the break from your precious forum arseholes.

Most of them are quick to forget, they have been hurting at some stage aswell! And they probably will be again, so as has been said constructive posts are welcome but the rest can GAGF

I dont think many people take pleasure in games like that guys. We all know what its like when your under the pump. Heads up, you will get through it.

I really feel for you guys right now!
It's going to be a long year, keep the faith and hopefully things will turn for you all soon
Nights like tonight are the worst, hopefully it's the straw that broke the camels back and something's done about it, because action needs to be taken to weed out the one who aren't up to it
Your club, as much as it must hurt right now, needs each and every one of you
Buy a membership, go support them at games, and when it changes you will be proud to say you stood by your beloved Dees when they were down
I've been there with my Hawks ( we all remember 1996 ) it's awesome when you climb to the top again
I'm sure the Dees will again!
Best of luck :thumbsu:

Any non-Essendon supporter who got any pleasure out of watching that tonight is a flog.

I heard your young skipper Grimes on the radio. Sounds like a quality young bloke. Footy can be a sht game sometimes as you know all too well. Keep your chins up and keep it all in perspective.

Trolling will be viewed in a very dim light.

Not much pleasure in tonight lads, when it got past 80 points I genuinely just felt sad, hard to look away.

You'll get through it, tough times, we've all been through it though as clubs.

I think I understand your pain as much as anyone. All I will say is stick with your club, you've been around for one and a half century's for a good reason. Long live the Dee's.

Your issue is getting everyone on the same page to fight for the cause. Its obvious not everyone at the club knows their role and what they need to do week in week out.
Any coach actually all coaches fight and love their players. Neeld is not the issue its the playing group. But there are 44 players and 1 coach. Its time Neeld finds out who doesnt want to be there or who isnt good enough to be there.
Its quite obvious that a few are just happy to rock up, get their paycheck and wait for 'someone else' to do the hardwork.
Too much is being left to too few.
You need a clean slate. A fresh start. Everything thats been done before tonight needs to be ****ed off.
You have a lot of quality individuals at the club.
Harsh or not the recent doings of the club has affected the culture. No doubt it has.
That has to change and needs to be done through the players wanting to take ownership of the Melborne moniker. The melbourne brand.
As an opposition supporter I dont have an empathy for the Melbourne Demons.
But for Neeld, for Jones, your captain, and for all of you guys- no one deserves to go through that. Not every week.
All you can do is have faith and things will change.

Don't worry guys, it will be well worth the pain. You have some terrific young kids and in a couple of years you will look back and say that was the year we drafted ......... He is a gun, thank God we were able to get him, just like we did with Nick Reiwoldt. Stick by your coach, he is a genuine man and a keeper.
Ignore the media, they are flogs!

As an Essendon supporter, I was pleased we broke our hoodoo against you...but when it boils down to it, that's the only real 'pleasure' I took out of tonight. That was sad to watch.

All I can say is- as useless as it probably sounds- keep your heads up. It's times like these when the club needs the supporters to stay on board, and I can only imagine how hard it would be to keep the faith after a night like that. But you have to try.

I really, really hope that hasn't come across as patronising, because that couldn't be further from my intentions.

Best of luck, guys.

There is no fun in trolling your club.

I have nothing but respect for this boards posters on this site. I just hope for a Dees win.

I ******* love your avatar

Cheers syl...unfortunately it is (unbeknown to me until two days ago) shared by a fairly notorious (and permabanned) Bay troll, but yes, I'm still undecided whether the canine is scared shitless or just a boss at staring.

I'll go with the latter.

Keep your heads up Dees, things can turn around quicker than expected. Port have done it over a pre-season it seems. If there's 2 blokes I have the utmose respect for it's Jack Grimes and Nathan Jones, genuine war horses who will steer you guys through this tough time.

Neeld is not the issue its the playing group.

I'll keep my views to myself, but players knowing their role is a coaching issue.

Chin up guys, losses like those are the fuel for positive changes.

Keep the faith lads, you will bounce back and rise again.

Sometimes shock losses like these can save many years meandering along, and fast track changes.

It's time to bring in some experienced hard mongrels with aptitude as new coaches and managers of your club, and tonight could be the catalyst for change.

And don't bother listening to Gary Lyon anymore. He's led you guys down the wrong track too many times. He's a tv commentator who's all care and no responsibility.

So every cloud has a silver lining. Chin up, things can only get better.

Memories, I wonder what Mr Z is doing now...I believe the avatar is an internet meme of some sort.

Not sure if this counts for anything but I like to think the mods are on the same page in having a zero tolerance approach to the trolling of Melbourne supporters. There is no joy in any of this.

Keep your chins up. :thumbsu:

Cheers FP - and I've noticed you've been doing a real yeoman's job of things on the main board this season as well. Things have seriously improved there since you started as a mod. Kudos :thumbsu:

Hi Wona, I've noticed you've returned to the main board. :D

I can't wish for you guys to win next week, naturally, but I do hope this is the lowest that Melbourne reaches. Only sadists take pleasure in the calamity befalling Melbourne supporters at the moment.

Keep ya head up & keep supporting your club, guys! Being a Richmond supporter, I know how you all feel.. it ****ing sucks when the team you support is going through hell.

Anyone trolling--perma ban.

Really feeling for you guys as supporters. Melbourne are a great club with a huge heritage in this game.
It's your club, you love 'em, keep supporting & things will change. (As hollow as that sounds right now)

They named us the 'demons' for a reason. It comes with the territory. Should've known. lol (;
