Not a superstar but certainly a player that most of us would remember playing makes this hit a bit harder.

Seemingly had a great administrative career at Geelong for 10+ years.

Went to Collingwood in 2021, lasted 4 months, been out of the AFL system ever since.

Very sad. RIP.

Had a mate that worked with him and he could never speak highly enough of him as a person. Very sad and a reminder to always check in on mates, we never know what could be happening with them.

Suicide is a massive problem, especially for men. We need to normalise men talking about their problems and their feelings as I think it is still somewhat of a taboo, which really contributes to certain groups of men feeling very alone and like they cannot talk to anyone.
