Troy Taylor Home Sick...

What do you mean big deal? Troy is one of the most talented players on our list and it would be a devastating loss.

i just have to ask where have you seen him play to make that assesment.
yes he has some talent but without the desire, and all things point to a lack of this, even before he was drafted amounts to jack.
he was a huge risk to take in the first place. all clubs left him alone it seems to me all clubs have got it right. well all clubs bar one.

relton roberts had similar risks associated with him. while both have great skills like most blacks, there was questions about both that made them risks.

If this is true and he decides to walk, the club would need to be really sceptical about future indigenous prospects from all remote regions. Hoping fellow draftee Relton can play a key role to keep him from walking!

from what i can see relton will be far to busy telling himself that it aint all to hard.

When we had the likes of Marty McGrath and Carl Peterson on the list I don't think we would have been set up like we are now to properly get the player settled into life in Melb - especially when the weather turns!

Carl Peterson is an example of someone who couldn't get his head around it, but has been given another chance and seems to be thriving at Hawthorn.

Personally, I don't think we've developed our young players anywhere near as good as some other clubs.

Might need someone like Liam Jurrah to have a word to him. He has come out of a small community and seems to be coping really well.

Oh well if he wants to leave the club let him leave but I hope he doesn't expect the club to help him with his legal troubles anymore.

I know which I would choose out of Melbourne and jail

People need to calm down. I read his Facebook page; there's nothing there you wouldn't expect from a kid transplanted away from his family and friends. Two weeks ago a friend asks if he's homesick and he says "NA JUST NEEDA GETTA OUTA MELBOURNE 4 A FEW DAYS :("

Of course he's missing home. That doesn't mean he's going to walk out on the club.

Let's give him some time and understanding, not yell at him to be happy at all times or GTFO.

bahahahaha guess whos facebook this is on

happy on the outside, sad on the inside, its not because im homesick, i just miss eatin burger wit da lot.....

When I first moved interstate from my parents and family the first 6 months was hard to deal with, he is just a kid and has just had everything in his life change on him.

He won't do a runner, eventually he will settle in

Not going to be a player anyway. Don't why we and other other clubs waste picks on players from other countries and troubled Indigenous players, when there are young kids who have dreamed all their lives to play the game and have been playing a lot longer.

Huh?

Relton needs his own reality TV show...that footage of him coming off earlier in the year after being KO'd and just scoffing into his sanga's like there was no tomorrow was hilarious. :D

Someone needs to give the man a break...design him a healthy 'burger wit da lot'...toasted spelt bun, lean beef/bean burger, nice organic salad/egg/bacon...call it the Fancy Angry Relton or something catchy. :thumbsu:

FWIW, these footballers loading up on wheat flour derived carbs and mutant cow dairy or soy products are doing their bodies a big disservice.

Too right. Burgers can be OK if you do it right.
Even so, nothing wrong with a greasy burger but maybe he might have to go for 5km extra while running. Like he said, he's not homsick, he just wants some fatty food. For what it's worth RObert Harvey used to pick the cheese out of his sald sandwiches when he boguth one at the shop. Chris Judd cuts the fat from his meat when he eats a steak from a restaurant. Both players never touched dessert.
Doesn't mean they never craved them. Just forgoe them to the best.

Absolutely Tugga, wheat flour (especially white flour which even starving rats won't eat), pastuerised dairy from mutant cows, soy products, refined sugars, processed packaged 'food'...if you can get them out of your diet (and there's better and tastier alternatives for all) and eat mostly whole foods you really do feel like a different man and it separates those athletes really serious about being the best they can be from the rest.

I shudder when I see and hear about the mountains of white flour pasta and other dietary disasters many footballers eat, just clogs you up and robs you of energy and wellbeing long term, much better to have a good portion of organic grass fed beef or fish and organic vegies and a goodly amount of raw honey prior to a game.

We need to find Relton a good healthy burger outlet somewhere in Melbourne...could totally turn his career around. :D:thumbsu:
