Hmm, that's interesting. I have 2 sources saying that he is 187 and 188cm.
I havn't watched enough of Melbourne's games in recent times (and why would you want to?). My impressions of him were that he was allot smaller than he is due to his style of play.

Will measure very similiar to Taylor in many regards if that is the case. Taylor is 189, and will probably get to 191-192cm range.

Also kicking the 2nd most goals for Melbourne is nothing you would brag about? From what I have seen of them they don't really have very many dangerous targets up forward. I suggest when Jack Watts is introduced next season that he will provide something up forward and become their new main target.
He definitely plays as a tall with excellent ground skills. As for his second most goals for Melbourne (in just 9 games) I also pointed out that he was 13th in the league last season for goals per game, ahead even of the impressive and accurate JA!

Also worth checking out Liam Patrick from the remote community of Lajamanu who is a huge talent. 186/187? but the biggest leap you have ever seen and another natural Warlpiri footballer. Lajamanu is a Warlpiri (tribe) community, (one of four Warlpiri communities) like Yuendumu where Liam Jurrah is from. They are full cousins for each other and have had legendary battles out here on the red dirt as teenagers.

Liam Patrick has been starring up in Darwin of late (including in the ruck such is his leap!)...

As well as those names, what are people's thoughts on Luke McDonald with a later pick as a proper KPF? He was the leading goalkicker in the TAC Cup this year with 64 goals from CHF, won the Eastern Ranges B&F, and has good size for a KPF (196cm, 92kg). I've barely heard his name mentioned in any draft discussions for any club. I know he got injured late in the year (and subsequently missed the state screenings), but is that the only thing keeping him out of most people's calculations - an 'out of sight, out of mind' kind of thing?

I rate him quite well, Kicking 60 Goals as a FF is very good in the TAC Cup and Did Dominate at TAC Cup. Though he is a Bigger Body then the Other Kids so it would be easier for him like Dawes was in 06 when we drafted him.

From the videos ive seen of Troy Taylor, i wouldnt be overly fussed if we missed out on him. No doubt the kid has ability, but to me he looks far too calm and relaxed to the point where he looks almost lazy. His style of play will see him get caught out in the big stage. I dont know, he doesnt overly WOW me, and seems the risky type to be picking up.

id think a player of his talent would be dominating that league, he only averaged 1 goal and 13 touches per game, sure he looks good when he gets it but getting is more impotant than looking good i think everyone will agree, he's a few years off AFL footy IMO but we can afford the risk, remember if he averaged 3 goals and 20 touches we wouldnt be a snowflakes chance in hell of getting him at 30, he"d be top 10 for sure.

Well think about Scott Pendlebury. He is a super hard worker on and off the field. He strives for perfection. It is a skill to be able to play like he does. Same with Taylor, being able to not be pressure or affected by pressure on the big stage is a fantastic skill. One I certainly don't underestimate.
