So I jumped in the car for my first supermarket trip since partial lockdown. On comes Angel of Death by Slayer.

Hey guys. As some of you know, I'm a baggage handler for the Red Kangaroo at Adelaide Airport, you've all probably heard the news by now, eleven of my colleagues have tested positive for Covid-19.

I was tested yesterday at the RAH, there's a marquee set outside the north-eastern courtyard, only had to wait about ten minutes, the test involved having a swab shoved down the back of my throat and then that same swab shoved up my nose until it was almost tickling my brain, the corkscrew motion was the worst part.

I'm still waiting for my results, it can take up to 72 hours, I'll be texted if I'm negative and called if I'm positive. I personally feel fine, but even if I test negative, I'm still subject to 14 days of quarantine at home, as I may yet develop symptoms.

SA Health shut us down for 14 days yesterday too, Swissport are taking over us for that period.

But all in all, it's a pretty shitty situation, on top of the stand downs and everything else that's happened.

I really hope my affected workmates make a speedy recovery

As a Newcastle fan the first season was enough to turn my lovenuggets inside-out, so Season 2 might make me COVID-Hasselhoff.
