I ****en hate Ports. Instead of being in Sydney sinking pints I'm about to go to a parents dinner for my daughters dance school. ****
Our only home final I've missed was v Essendon in 2002. We were supposed to beat Collingwood in the 1st week and have the following week off. I was 'asked' to come to the primary school choir event at Festival Theatre in that off week but then we were playing Essendon. Watching the kids was even more purgatory than normal and it was made very clear I was not to complain. At the interval and at the end hundreds of men raced to the foyer and clustered around those who had arranged to receive text messages with the scores.

Read today that Bill Murray and Harold Ramis had a falling out during that. Murray wanted to push the other stuff and Ramis wanted to focus on comedy to my understanding.

That's why we never got a forward Ghostbusters III god dammit, unless you count the video game.

I wanted to see him hilariously ******* shit up around town with apparent impunity.

Instead he spent the movie trying to win the heart of a dull woman and becoming a good human being in the process.

Boring.

I've never walked out of a film. Anyone here?

Do you get your money back or anything?
Clash of the Titans (1981)

So keen for this. Twenty minutes in, my 6yo ass cracked it. Led Mum & Dad in the walkout.

Almost walked out on Elizabethtown but stuck it out.

Many didn't, tho...

Lemon Popsicle. Something that came out in the late seventies.
The Terminal. Tom Hanks. Well I tried to walk out on it but was at 30,000 ft at the time. This was when you had screens drop down in 747s and you were forced to watch the same movie as everyone else.

Haha the terminal is a great film to fall asleep to

Tom Hanks also did one with Julia Roberts (is on Netflix) which is just as soporific

I didn't see it at a cinema but it took me three watches to see the entirety of Peter Jackson's King Kong.
See I saw that on a plane so it was given the Flight Edit and thought it was quite good.

We have the DVD at home, never watched by the fam in its entirety, last attempt we bailed before they even got off the ship.

There's basically three distinct movies.
1. Getting to the island
2. Being on the island
3. Being in New York

I find that movie really interesting, though I can see where you are coming from.

He is trapped there for thousands of years or so.
