I don't really mind either way, what does get me though, is how come the government can't spend the same sort of money that they spent for this on the homeless.
This survey being nothing more than an obscene waste of public money is probably the one thing we can all agree on.

Maggies, Spurs, Raiders?
They could a least look like they give a shit.
Ironic little titbit from the old Bible:

Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters had pride, much food, and too much rest, but she did not help those who were poor and in need. - Ezekiel 16:49

You don't just 'fix' homelessness you know.

We could do much better than the status quo.

Our rate of homelessness per capita is more than double that of England, France, Spain, Italy, United States to name a few. Plenty of room for improvement. I'm sure $122 million towards root causes could've kept at least a few hundred off the street and put a bit of dent in the deficit.

Is there any argument more indicative of stupidity than the old "could spend that money on the homeless"

I'm talking less about this subject it was brought up here as this plebiscite was an obvious waste of money but in general. Every bigots first stop is apparently helping the homeless. One wonders why homelessness wasn't eradicated by the nazis or kkk.

It's amazing that people can be so shortsighted to think people just trip up and end up on the street. The people that end up on the street usually have a series of complicated and unfortunate circumstances that aren't remotely easily dealt with.

any time it's mooted we help anyone or do anything of note people cry out that we should help the homeless first and it is so stunningly predictable.

So a young fella from my cricket club had his car stolen last night and sustained some pritty ****** up injuries. He was there because he thought he was meeting a girl. Ch7 news running with "he owed people money so he got set up". What an absolute campaigner of an organisation. Who ever runs their news department are actual pieces of shit.

Spy is good.

Not a Netflix so probably irrelevant but it's on telly again and do find it very humourous. Probably Melissa McCarthy's best and Jason Statham is the highlight of every scene he's in.
