And yet if our hands weren't tied by bedwetting laymen we'd be the Saudi Arabia of the entire uranium cycle.

I wouldn't trust Xenophon to run a brothel replete with Kaya Scodelario fembots toting the latest Jennifer Lawrence anoos-themed upgrades.
Prospect is a nuclear free zone! Luckily it doesn't have any hospitals.

Where did all the reds go though? Not in the footage. Like to know how out of that you find 9 reds. Mostly subs getting involved?
This is the Ba-Vi, the derby of Salvador between Bahia (red, white, blue) and Vitória (red, black).

Seven were sent off after the brawl, including two players from the bench. Vitória was playing with 8, and Bahia, with 9. Later, Vitória’s players forced two red cards to end the game.

Bahia State Soccer Federation has declared Bahia as the match winner by 3-0.

That is hilariously brilliant. Xenophon is going to smash it.

10+ years of Labor has delivered a shit state economy and the most expensive power prices on the planet. Liberals are more use replacing argon on the periodic table of elements. Has Marshall figured out which party he works for yet?

Unless there's some major negative Xenophon scandal in the next 4 weeks, it's going to be a new era in state politics.
I ******* hope not.

I went to a couple of those discussion things about the nuclear waste storage and a lot of the most vocal opponents to it were on economic grounds. I think it would have been a huge investment to get built, and even then the modelling showed that it might not even be that profitable and you're highly dependent on there not being other competitors in the nuclear waste storage game (like who is to say that Russia isn't going to just build one for cheaper with less safety in the middle of Siberia). That's for storing high level waste anyway, for storing our own low level waste no-one really seemed to have a problem, but then that's not going to be an economic game-changer. And then the whole "we should have reactors because we have uranium" thing is dumb anyway, uranium is super high energy density so it's is cheap to move about so we're not at an advantage because it's already here. And it's probably not all that cheap anyway with the way that wind and solar and storage are improving - because nuclear is a huge upfront cost you have to factor in that by the time it takes to pay-off the plant and the tech advancements which would have occurred during that time.

Or maybe SA is just a backwater bedwetter

The things you find in random folders on workplace network drives.

Some guy has written up his speech for the SA Gridiron Hall Of Fame (did lol).

"Mat joined gridiron in the mid 80’s. Like his contemporaries he commenced training for the better part of 12 months before playing a competitive match. Not something that modern day participants would be likely to ever handle. He signed on at the time with the Brighton Breakers who were then based at the Brighton Rugby Club.

As with all his fledgling teammates Mat wanted to play in a key position role. The Head Coach Art Lyon asked all his 50-60 or so players to nominate their preferred positions – quick show have hands showed about a third were to be QBs, another third RBs and the rest WRs. However unlike many of his team mates who were then moved into the trenches he was absolutely destined to play as a wide receiver in this league. "

Wait what the ****, there is a gridiron league in SA?

Apparently so!

neddy36 will know all about this.
Haha yes I was there on the night and recall Dave's speech word for word from what is typed here. It was a pretty good night for $105 per head.

Ask Mr. Sedgewick why his speech was on the network drive lol. He must have written it while at Work!
Sedge. Holy shit. I played soccer in the 90s at sturt marion and he was the reseres keeper. If it is the same guy, he was a giant. He actually wore his gridiron cleats in goal. Lovely bloke, worked at the repat for a bit and i made the mistake of giving him some cheek one night at the soccer club and he picked me upside down and kept drinking his beer at the bar.

neddy36 ... same guy?
