Don't usually say this, but Pauline's idea of getting dudes on the dole to kill Cane Toads at 10 cents a pop is genius. Make some money, kill pests, lick them and get off tap. Everybody wins.

Everything else has failed so why not,?? but raise it to $1 and you might get a billion killed if its supposed to include those on he dole. We need a kill non-indigenous animals week in the school holidays. Every other bloody cause seems to have a national day or national week. Give the kids something to do in the holidays, make a bit $$ and get rid of vermin we dont need.

I'm not against Paulines initial idea, though. It needs to be regulated so that toads killed in a way that wasn't specified as 'humane' don't get cashed in. Hard to police in actuality though. These sorts of campaigns undeniably work. You need only look back in history to see how many species got absolutely trashed through human direct and physical intervention.

Just don't mention the Emu War. The Emu's won.

Dingoes are excellent at killing feral cats and keeping their numbers down which helps in the regeneration of small marsupials, but we kill dingoes so..
