Any of you geezers done a 36 hour fast?

Looking at giving it a crack after drinking 700 beers and a gazillion vodkas and 2 tonne of ham this Xmas

Not intentionally

A while ago I Somehow caught Giardia and couldn’t eat for about 6 weeks. Literally couldn’t eat. Prob ate 1 burger and chips (huge mistake that was) , 1 banana and 1 packet of crackers in that entire time.

Which
A) puts “im starving” into perspective

You can last a hell of a lot longer without food than what you think as long as you can drink water. Not that it’s ever likely to come up, but in any survival situation **** prioritising food, just grab clean water.

B) made me realise how insanely hard it is to lose considerable weight if you’re not obese. I lost about 10kgs after 6 weeks of barely eating 1 days worth of food. At a time I was working a very physical job.

At the end of it I was starting to feel a bit weak, but gee I also felt healthier than I had in a long time as well.

Good luck with the fast / diet.

You were that sick you couldn't eat anything and still went to work for 6 weeks? M8 go to hospital instead

Damian Hoff was brought in to oversee the MCG pitch preparation. Not a great look, he’s ****ed up here.
Where's your source? I can't find anywhere where Hough was "brought in" to oversee this MCG pitch. The MCG has its own curator, Matt Page, with the wank title of 'Executive Manager of Turf'

From people who are curators at Adelaide oval.

Just hop on the 15mg Mounjaro. Ive been on it post cancer to just drop some flab and reduce risks. Cant eat even if I tried 🤣

699 a month but. Farken.
I was lucky after all I had done with 9 hours in surgery and am on nothing after the opp.

That cost you have is a lot for your average working type. This sort of thing should be on the government script list.

Its not on any sort of PBS at all. Cant get support for it at all even though its approved for treating type 2 diabetes, obesity and even sleep apnea. It's actually sort of ridiculous it isnt on the PBS. All three of those things are big health issues across the country.

I got type 2 as a result of chemo slaughtering my liver, and was carrying a bit of extra weight.

The alternative that is on the PBS is Metformin. Its like a hundred year old proven drug but its nowhere near as effective as things like Mounjaro.

Other stupid thing is, women with PCOS (which causes blood sugar issues similar to type 2) cant get mounjaro on the PBS either and have to use metformin.

Its dumb that the best and most modern treatments arent on the PBS but I do think it'll be a matter of time. If I cant get it supported as a result of ****ing cancer and its being given as a potentially life saving preventative then thats a bit messed up.

It comes in heaps of dosages. Like 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15. Gets more expensive as it goes up. I was on 7.5 early days but now on 15 and the difference is like $200 more a month. Basically they've amped me up due to a level of urgency for atleast the first few years.

Bullshit. If there's even a modicum of truth to your story, Hough would have already been trending on socials for this debacle.

Lol. The sporting capital of the world - with the biggest own goal.
Ok buddy.

He also went to Bali on the second day of the Adelaide test for his wife’s 50th.

Losing fat is almost secondary for me, and more for the metabolic benefits and autophagy.
