Late stage capitalism is just everything ending up in oligopoly where the big fish keeps eating the smaller fish until there's no actual competition left. Consulting is already there, our supermarket industry got there a while ago, the internet is there, the automotive industry isn't far off.

But hey, those big multinationals will have more capital than 80% of countries, so that's good for the first economy.

Its because she was white as sin which has drawn the laugh reactions. She looked whiter than a finnish person. The media chalking it up as aboriginal death in custody is a bit rich, even if she did identify as aboriginal.

No death is funny, not justifying it but thats the reason for the reacts. Its just deliberate controversy.

oh yeah, its murdoch trash and done deliberately, but still pretty disgusting in 2025 that the majority of people seem to judge based on skin colour, when we had a forced assimilation policy for decades, the stolen generation, etc etc. yeah of course people of mixed descent some are gonna have lighter skin than others. that's genetics.

Another gripping game in Game 6 of the World Series in Toronto, that LA won 3-1 to make it 3-3, with Saturday night's game to sort out the championship.

All the scoring was done in the 3rd innings - LA scored 3 runs followed by Toronto's only run, in the bottom of the 3rd. Toronto got 8 hits to LA's 4, but couldn't do anything with that advantage.

LA's pitcher Yamamoto was excellent in all 6 innings he pitched where as the Blue Jay's Gausman had a poor 3rd innings and struggled early with his pitching but was stronger in the last 3 innings.

Yamamoto gave up 4 of the Blue Jays 8 hits in the 6th innings, but struck out batters when things were critical.

LA had scored 1 run in the 3rd and bases were loaded and then Mookie Betts, who has had a shocking championship series and world series hitting at about 1 in 8 at bats, hits a single groundball deep to left field and 2 runs were scored.

The star Blue Jay batters Vlad Guerrero Jr and Bichette got 1`hit and Clement and Barger, got 2 hits, but not that effective just got singles and Springer got 2 hits for 1 RBI.

LA are tossing up if Ohtani starts or closes the game for LA. Either way it will be a nerve racking game for fans and players.
