Vince Dicola peaked mixing electric guitars with synthesizers on the Rocky IV soundtrack. For all the hoohah about young artists how come nobody has come close to that level of artistry in 40 years? Clearly no campaigner knows what to do with existing instruments let alone new ones.

Honorable mention the Transformers soundtrack.

Interesting that someone like Swims that has clocked up 8.7 billion streams with his global hits and sells out concerts only made 20k last year.
