Burnie
North Hobart
Glenorchy
Devonport

My Tips:

Clarence - 75 points
Burnie Dockers - 45 Points
North Hobart - 30 Points
Northern Bombers - 15 Points
Devonport - 34 Points

Clarence by 111.
Hobart to upset the young Burnie side at the TCA - nearly no burnie player would have ever played there.
Demons over Launy in a tight one
Glenorchy to finally put 4 quarters together and upset North convincingly
Devonport over South fairly easily.

In this weekend's TSL matches, on Friday night at Bellerive it was the unbeaten Clarence up against Lauderdale under lights.
The Roos bounded out of the blocks early and after establishing a 41-point half time lead they piled on 9.6 in a roughhouse second half to a very disappointing Lauderdale's single scoring shot (a goal) in the same period to run out convincing 95-point winners to stay unbeaten and on top of the ladder.
On the ABC1 match at KGV it was Glenorchy, fresh from a good come-from-behind victory over the Dockers at West Park last week facing the quiet achievers in North Launceston.
The Northern Bombers held sway during the first half but got out to a solid lead in the third quarter before the Pies hit back to reduce the margin to 11-points at the final change.
In the final quarter North Launceston resumed charge of the match and with a five goal to two last quarter, the Bombers ran away to a solid 29-point win over a rudderless Glenorchy outfit who scrapped hard throughout but quite simply didn't play well enough to earn a victory.
The Bombers with that win keep pace with North Hobart in the top three whilst Glenorchy slip to 2-3 and remain unconvincing at this stage.
North Hobart came from behind to overrun Launceston at North Hobart by 16-points.
The Demons had been innaccurate early but still held a slender lead at the first break, the Blues hitting in the front in the second quarter and holding onto that lead still at three-quarter time by 7-points.
The Demons producing 5-6 to 2-1 in the final quarter to win the match and remain in second place while for Launceston it was a case of another opportunity gone begging.
In a major surprise, Hobart demolished Burnie at the TCA Ground by a whopping 81-points in warm and windy conditions in front of a better than expected crowd of about 700.
The Tigers produced some of the best footy they've played in many years to jump out of the blocks early and post six majors on the board whilst the Dockers three for the term were all from free-kicks in the goal square.
After the Tigers continued to pepper the goals and register 5 straight behinds and look much the better side in the the second quarter and leading by 34-points, a great change came over the game, Todd Willing came off with a foot injury and Hobart started making a lot of errors in their defence, overusing the ball, costly turnovers and bombing the ball high into the wind and the Dockers took the opportunity to seize control of the match, kicking with a stiff wind to the cricket stand end to reduce the margin to only 10-points at the long break.
After a rev-up from Fox at halftime the Tigers came out firing and turned back the clock many years by running all over Burnie in the third quarter and establishing a 41-point lead at the final change.
Any fears that the Tigers would let slip any control of the game were unfounded as, apart from a goal to the Dockers a minute or so into the final quarter, Hobart absolutely dominated the play and Burnie could hardly get their hands on the ball, despite kicking against a strong wind, the Tigers belted through another six to the Cottage end to race away to an 81-point victory, Hobart registering its first win over Burnie since 1993 when they were the Hawks.
In tonight's game at Devonport, the Magpies shook off a determined South Launceston to run out 39-point winners.
The Pies started slowly but got back into the game in the second quarter and in the final quarter booted six to run away with game and record their second win of the season and keep in touch with the pack.
