From today's West in an article related to McPharlin:

Injury news out of West Coast yesterday was also positive, with Collingwood recruit Brent Tuckey cleared of any serious damage to his knee.

Tuckey received a heavy knock to the knee in the practice match against the Kangaroos on Saturday and was still suffering with some soreness on Monday.

But an MRI scan has not revealed any major structural damage to the joint.

"It is a favourable report," assistant coach Guy McKenna said. "He is going to have a light week this week but hopefully he will be right for round one.

"There was no major damage but there was a bit of wear and tear."

The Eagles have also applied to the AFL to have about 10 players released to play this weekend.

Goods news then.

Kuepper if I was you I would be more worried about who is going to play up forward for Freo. Clive is out for the season and Jeff Farmer is suspended. I'd say that leaves Freo a bit short up forward. So thanks for your concern, but to be honest with you im really concerned that Freo will struggle to kick goals ::D
How nice of you to show concern.

I am sure that J-lo, Croady and Medhurst shall be fine ... I just asked what the backup plan was, especially if McIntosh got rubbed out - when is that? tonight?

It wasnt even certain he would get a game come round 1. You have more to worry about Sabre as Waterhouse and Farmer were certainties to play if healthy.
Call me Sabre again, and I'll presonally visit your house, and thrash you within an inch of your life.

Have a nice day. :)

- Willow at FF & Gardy at CHF. Two very big guys, who can take a very strong mark.
- And anything they don't mark will be crumbed by Fido and Merenda.
- Plus Andrew Embly will be floating around somewhere (I know you don't rate him, but he is a danger).
- Plus our dominant midfield will chip in with a few.

P.S. The Avatar - Pure Genius.
Dominant midfield hey? Against all the odds, and yes in a practice match, we beat the brisbane midfield last week, which boded well, hope you are not getting too far ahead of itself.

Old 'charlie' may get a run through CHF, where he can throw girly (sorry girls) slaps at Pav, but you really think Dean 'I kick the ball twice a year' Cox can carry the ruck, effectively?

Embley is a hack, pure and simple - he has to produce this year, consitantly.

And the avatar? you have to love the towlie.

'Dont forget to bring a towel'

Is it true that the Brisbane players took pillows out on the ground with them?
Cousins, Kerr, Wirra, Matera, Fletcher and Braun.
Bell, Cook .............. Unfit Haselby, ???, ???
And what do our midfielders have that yours don't? Pace.

Opposed to Troy 'I kick the ball once a year' Simmonds - Yeah. Watch both players Wizard Cup form. Cox was far better.

A Hack??? How dare you go around calling people hacks. ;)
He's a young guy who has shown flashes of brilliance during his short career. Has kicked six goals in the two previous prac matches, so he'll have confidence going into the match.

Cox - yes I think he will carry our ruck effectively. Subject to injury, for many years.

Embley - a very damaging half forward flank. Will improve enormously now that we've got a proper coaching team. This year, in contrast to the two previous years, has had a proper pre-season and (touch wood) no serious early season injuries, so will go well.

No completely false, I heard you had bitten them all, my sexually incongruant friend.
Cousins, Kerr, Wirra, Matera, Fletcher and Braun.
Cousins sure, Kerr, definately (both good fremantle lads) Wirra, I'm sorry this is 7th season (or is it 8?) and he has played 60 games, i want to see the guy playa full season consistantly, he has the tools, and damn doesnt he owe you guys alot, Matera (which one?) eFletcher is hardly a world beater, and Braun, well he's int eh Wirra catergory.
Bell, Cook .............. Unfit Haselby, ???, ???
Hasleby is fit, Bell is a champ, Cooky is all guts, and toweled up the brisbane mideifld, Seigert is a find, Mcmanus (feel free to laugh away) has done well this preseason, Woods provides drive, as does your favourite player, Pav - who has played alot through there.

I think you may be slighly suprised my boy.
And what do our midfielders have that yours don't?
I was going to be witty and say 'a drug habit' but thats just not classy, so I shant.

True pace is lacking in parts, but I truely believe the new training regime, combined with the run of the wodds, the seigerts et al, may pleasently (or not so pleasently) suprise you come rd 1.

We'll agree to disagree, I saw Simmonds towel Darcy in the first game, and then he didnt do _alot_ but nor was he thrased, sans Primus, but then again, who isnt.

I didnt ssee Dean Cox play enough to comment, but last year I used to giggle when he took a acatch, I seriously thought he didnt know how to kick :)

A Hack??? How dare you go around calling people hacks. ;)

Once again, we shall see.

I always smirk when i see you circling over Sabre's carcass laughing at is predictions of grandeur for players who havent yet prduced, but the same malaise certianly exists over here - seriously, if I went around touting embeleye as a freo player, you'd laugh and abuse, and rightly so - the guy has done zero, nothing, nada, zilch - he may well do, but for now, to tout him as a saviour of your half forward like is uber premeature IMHO.

Not from what I've seen. And the bloke still looks very heavy and slow. It's not his fault, I mean you can't just magically cure a ruptured disc in your back.
I hope he get's better, but I think there are some worrying signs so far.

I agree with Bell and Cook. In fact I've always rated Cook pretty highly.
- Seirgert looks ok, although so did Shipp a few years ago. He'll probably get the job on Cuzz. Poor buggar.
- Woods - Ring me when he does something.
- Pav in the middle? I don't know, the closer he get's to Jako, the more nervous he'll get. Let's face it. he's not a midfielder.

I don't think anyone is touting Embers as a saviour for our half forward line. Must of us just agree that he has a bit of talent, and could become a very handy player down the road.
Bit different from Sabre, and some of the stuff he comes up with. :)

P.S. Liked the pillow comeback.
That Sossa wasn't fit to hold your gym bag, while you were out of action.

Nice little dig from you on the main board Kuepper

Get off your high horse, and try and have a sense of perspective.

As for the rest of your inane diatribe, is it any wonder that the public perception of west coast support is arrogant clueless gits?

Worthy of Rivals.net dockerism I guess.

And care to place that quote in context, you serial troll?

Worthy of Rivals.net dockerism I guess.
Please explain toi me, why you would visit a Fremantle specific board, then complain they dont agree with you, or say mean and nasty things?

This board is one of my vists, as mainly there are some decent people, and the banter is enjoyable - but never have I been bothere to visist a west coast specific site - and why? cause at the end of the day, I could care less.

But you, my god man, if this was real life, you'd be up on stalking charges.

You never did have the nuts to answer my inidan pacific thread (which the above quote he made refers to) and the fact you can even read my posts, when I am supposedly on oignore highlights, once again, what a fraud you are.
