Cops 2 weeks for the sling and an additional 1 week for clocking him earlier .

Pretty stiff I hope the Club fight it.

Doesn't deserve anything for the tackle. He had no other option at all. The striking incident i havent seen however if sam mitchell can get off for his bullshit it just shows the continued biased bullshit shown by the AFL.
On the radio they said one week for the tackle, and 2 weeks for an incident later in the game for undue rough play also Involving Kennedy. Can anybody recall this latter incident, as off the top of my head I can't.

Mental. Might as well challenge the tackle at least, not much else he could do and Kennedy didn't exactly try and protect himself with his free hand.

Nah two weeks for the tackle, one week for a strike earlier in the game involving Kennedy that only the MRP and their green alien friend Ozmodiar could see

It's like the Darren Glass one a number of years ago where they shone a little spotlight on someone 100m behind the play and you could vaguely see a person, but if you could discern who it was, well you might well be related to an Eagle....

Just rewatched the incident again - initially I thought 2-3 given how the sling tackle has been adjudicated in the past.

But his tackle lingered no longer than he had the ball - in fact he made contact as he kicked. Harsh to penalise that.

I'm not fussed one way or the other actually from a WC pov as his position is marginal to say the least - but from a footy POV - it's pretty rough

Didn't see the earlier hit but must have been worse than this to cop a week (or is it two weeks?):

As far as tackle goes it was perfectly executed and injury was only result of accident. Only conclusion to draw is that Hawks/AFL are obviously scared of Tunners.

How the hell did Mitchell get away with that one?

It was deemed Mitchells hand was open.
It would be unnatural to throw your hand forwards with fingers out, particularly for a footy player (downward but not forward) you'd have bent or broken fingers. It was a forward hit not a slap as they deemed.

Tough on the tackle for Tunners as he didn't pin both arms.

Bullshit. Made up striking charge unless there's footage they can provide?

Challenge the tackle and use Shuldtz tackle from last year as evidence. He got off and the opposition player wasn't walking around laughing before the end of the game. His ws a true barrell roll, pinned arms.

MRP need to be part of the AFL so they can be made accountable. This independent bullshit is why certain players keep getting off
