Yeah, nah. You must think you're the only guy out there who ever "tells them all the time how much you love them, buy her gifts, take her places and be affectionate." You must be rather naive to hold the view you do.
Why would a woman be clingy to a guy that doesn't do these things for her, other than being desperate?
Your experience is just that: yours alone. It's not the standard; as one woman isn't the same as the next. If you think there's a one size fits all solution to every woman, you likely haven't dated enough women to come across and experience how clingy some women can be.
True I guess tesseract.
In the meantime, I've thought of a good anti-cling method.
why would a girl be clingy to a guy that already showers her with lovey dovey love all the time? She'd start to get sick of it happening aaall the tiiime. And she'd want to get some space too. After that phase (once you're settled), let her know you'll be there for her, and proceed to turn down the romance a bit.
I've seen clingy women everywhere, wanting to hang with their bf's 24/7. If the bf takes up a little too much of her space for a bit, she'll back off a little. For those that are just
Too clingy and don't mind her bf "being" clingy, I suggest you end that. She's way too reliant on you.
