Much prefer the colours of the smaller version for background colours of the team but prefer the wider graphic above. I would do the the wider one in the same style as the lower one and I think it'd look good.

Shrinking the team names isn't a great look compared to the rest of the text being normal. I'd extend the name bars so you have North Melbourne fitting properly, then you'll get yourself a decent scorebug!
With CBS behind them, Channel 10 is getting back into the sports window. I have made some new graphics for Channel 10 sports following the re brand last year (Channel 10 are yet to have their own produced sports since the re brand. The first will be the Rugby Championship)

Like the Idea, just dont think the look is quite right for sports. Feels a bit light on with the very light text, when you probably want something bold and strong. And also, you've included way too much info on the cricket scoreboard. No need to have the run rate stuff separate to the area for the the chase info, and if you are going to include the 'vs England' bit you probably need to make sure the bowler is in the same box to make everything feel less cluttered. Otherwise, nice set.

Feel like the text at times is too light especially with the important info such as names, scores, time etc. Try using a bolder version of the font and you'll find those areas stand out better.
Probably the first broadcast-worthy set of graphics I've seen in this thread for a long time. Agree with others that the font might be too light, but I like where you're coming from. Don't forget most people have HD TV's nowadays so you can most certainly get away with lighter font types, but going with something heavier wouldn't hurt either
I like the layout of your AFL and soccer scorebugs too. AFL imo should be one-on-top-of-the-other like how they used to be and like how Ch7 currently have, not all on one line like Fox Footy currently. Good stuff

Silver for finals, gold for Grand Final would have been better.
Or maybe they'll reverse it for the GF and have the team names on the gold background.
