These graphics may be only for origin as the 9now logo is in the corner and the graphic style is similar to that of 9now. Channel 9 have no reason to promote 9now during NRL season due to lack of exclusivity.
They can fill the space in other ways, right now it's advertising wwos.com.au
Also I'm pretty sure you can watch their NRL coverage on 9Now (no extra streams though) unlike 7 who were more willing to let Foxtel have exclusive streaming coverage (future deals will probably be different).

Looks like I was wrong. Have no idea what Ch9 are doing here, their last graphics were quite clean and certainly didn’t need to be changed mid season
Agreed - definitely doesn't suit a club game as much as it suited Origin.

Do I just watch the footy on fox more or has some of the 7 afl pregame graphics changed?

Noticed that, but they still haven’t been able to extend it to other in-game graphics.
Not really a problem last night, but terrible with say Carlton v Geelong, where the Cats have a white scorebug but any other related graphics come up as navy blue, matching Carlton’s scorebug colour.

Actually like the comm games graphics, especially the sport ones where the colours matched what the teams were wearing. Much better than the Olympics with just the flagsBirmingham 2022 graphics

With the AFL’s next Broadcast rights being announced mostly at the end of the month.
If 10/Paramount+ gets the right what would their graphics be? Same with 9/Stan.
Since the last time 9 or 10 had the rights were 10+ years ago, I wonder what their potential graphics might looks like. 10 similar to their Aleauge & 9 similar to NRL?

Whoever has the rights (except for Fox and/or Seven) will likely introduce new packages all round. Football and league scoreboards don't translate very well to AFL generally.
Stan and P+ would probably be like the Fox/Kayo style sizing (mobile vs. big screen), just with their design languages instead of Fox's. I don't think they'd reinvent the wheel too much with the AFL and it would likely still be produced by NEP or whoever, just in their "skin". Paramount+ had a less "established" league with the A-League so less risk, but if they stuff up the AFL they will have millions of complaints so would have to invest in their production chain to keep up with a) demand and b) the status quo established by the traditional broadcasters.
I didn’t hate 10’s football scoreboard & it could work in AFL with some tweaks - bit bigger & expanded to fit scores of 100 for both etc
I do agree that 9’s leauge scoreboard won’t work with AFL but this could (again with tweaks)

LaLiga's score graphics for season 2022-23. Remains unchanged from the last couple of seasons.
