They do it on the bbl aswell, is it similar to fox footy and 7afl where they try and have as much as the info as possible as part of the score bug now? This is new on 7. They had the same thing for bowling with the score pushed to the left side.

I agree but I guess with that graphic they were showing that out of 71 balls (11.5 overs) there was 51 dots (8.3 overs). It wouldn’t make sense to do it otherwise.Hate the inclusion of 'dots'. I get it for limited overs cricket but not Tests. No one gives a shit about dot balls in Test cricket. Maidens are more reflective of if the bowler is working over the batsman.
FOX using basic graphics tonight just the aflw draft just bit showing the current and next pick and the regular fox tickerIts late but fox footy afl draft graphics

Based off the sportnet Canada scorebug?I kinda wish a broadcaster would play around with condensing the scorebug along these lines.

Cleanest graphics in baseball, wish we had something like it over here.Based off the sportnet Canada scorebug?
The more I look at it, the more I like it. It's a grower, not a show-er. Only thing I'd maybe do is replace the 7 logo with either the series logo or the batting side's.I kinda wish a broadcaster would play around with condensing the scorebug along these lines.

I like the concept and the aesthetic you've gone for, not so much the placement of the different elements.I kinda wish a broadcaster would play around with condensing the scorebug along these lines.

I remembered I sketched out a similar idea ages ago, but rather than post that and force everyone to decipher it, I thought I'd flesh it out a bit in PS using a scoreline from earlier today.
Font's more or less a placeholder, and I've blatantly stolen the team logos from Fox, but it gets the point across I think.

Is that confirmed?Their updated scorebug will resemble the NBA one
They are using the nhl tv? graphics today9’s NHL broadcast - although the coverage has been awful View attachment 2460299
7 has shown this sometimes before an over starts with Tests & BBL but it’s never a permanent feature. Also because it takes up space I guessPerhaps a dumb idea, but has a cricket broadcaster ever experimented with a field placement type of graphic that you see in the corner in computer games like Cricket 26? I think it's the main element of cricket missing when you're watching on TV rather than live at the venue.

I’ve been wanting this for years and don’t understand why they can’t stick in the bottom corner of the screen. It might not mean much to the casual observer but for cricket Nuffies you have no idea where the fielders are when a batsman hits the ball in the air.Perhaps a dumb idea, but has a cricket broadcaster ever experimented with a field placement type of graphic that you see in the corner in computer games like Cricket 26? It came into my mind yesterday when Travis Head lopped one to midwicket. It was either a great shot to the boundary or a terrible one straight down a fielder's throat, but it wasn't until the camera moved as the ball landed before you knew that there was no fielder in sight.I’ve been wanting this for years and don’t understand why they can’t stick in the bottom corner of the screen.
