No, nothing is free. Everything costs money.

And you're hellbent on trying to paint Optus in a bad light. We get it, you're unhappy. You don't like streaming for live sport either. Hate to break it to you, but right now that's the only option. Like it or lump it.

Hardly. You've posted 200 posts more than anyone else. You like discussing it but you haven't welcomed competition at all.
Rubbish. I'm happy for PL to go to whoever makes it available on the widest range of platforms at a reasonable price. Clearly Optus isn't doing that for football fans right now hence why it's been a failure for them. I would have signed up to Optus immediately to watch PL if it was available on a $20 monthly subscription. The current system is absolutely a backwards step for anyone who isn't on an Optus mobile or broadband plan (and there are many that can't be on both). If me arguing that in a discussion forum upsets you I do apologise profusely.

This Zidane98 campaigning against Optus, is going on longer than the US Presidential election.
I actually want to deal with them but can't in my situation (under contract for mobile and Optus broadband unavailable in my area).

Hardly a "campaign" against them!!!

I've read/skimmed over a few pages here so can't find where to quote it but Fwoy I'd love for the old beIN Sports Connect model to return and would pay for it happily.

Now, granted I have a speed faster than most which makes streaming no issue for me so can understand others non-plussed over this but when I signed up to it before it was absorbed into FoxSports it was the first time I took the effort to watch other leagues and gained an interest somewhat, and not just the superpower clubs either.

Since becoming a FoxSports add on that shows only a handful of games it's back to before where I watch my club, some highlights from around the PL and that's it.

I think everyone wants the old beIN Sports Connect back. Was great to wake up to 8 UCL matches at the same time, 5 Bundes games, 5 Serie A, 3 La Liga and a French Ligue 1 game to choose from...

I'm not even mad at Optus, I'm mad that when I lived overseas for a few months in a country that saw sealed roads as an added extra that the internet was faster than what I currently have in a country where we are suppose to be the "lucky". I can't even stream porn, nothing lucky about that.

The bastard local MP still hasn't answered my emails either, hope he has the federal police on speed dial because I swear to god if I see that buffering signal for another 6 months I will go rogue.

Did you have any luck getting Optus to install satellite? You really shouldn't have to pay the monthly sat fee when you have no alternative. I'd be pushing that hard if I was you.

Maybe he didn't get your email because it's still sending?
