Tigertime.Johhno was one of the most prolific ball getters in the league in 2004.

He was the most consistent and tireless workers in our entire side.I really can't work out why richmond supporters don't rate him higher.

Whether that makes him captain material ,I don't know.I certainly wouldn't give it to Richo.

Browny has just rolled up and IMO his place in the media and his fashion label buiso just doesn't make him suitable in my eyes.I know it's probably irrational but there it is.

Cogs might be a leader in action but he's doesn't seem like a leader in voice.Neither does he seem particularly tactically savvy.

Unfortunately we don't currently have an obvious leader, thats been part of our problem.

I'd go Johhno,he was ostensibly our leader on hte field in 2004 anyway. If they gave it to Bowden though,I wouldn't be too annoyed.

Johnson didnt get the ball out to tivendale last year. Hence tivendale always getting tackled.. Fleming went in a lot harder than johnson. He just had no skills.

Your comments about Bowdens efforts were out of context. Who are you trying to fool??? Everyone else here can read my post. Try being honest.
take your own advice and tell want warrants a bloke who has been on cruise control since his 3rd year the club to a point where he was DROPPED from an underperforming side.I give his due that he cameback after that wakeup call and played well.but really 11 games dont makeup for his shortcomings over the previous years.
Go and ask cogs what influrence Jonno has had on himself since his arrival.

cheers!

I like Johnson. Good Player who plays in bursts. Bowden would make a better captain no doubt. Bowden was sensational in 2001 and our best player last season. Johnson did go missing at times!!!
Let's not rate Brown on having to play out of the back pocket to midfield because of the Dud - he will be a forward pocket this season and kill them!!!!
Probably a player like richo who wouldn't like the captaincy - even though he has a lot to offer. Anyone with a half a brain knows we could really use a player like zantuck if he was prepared to make a commitment - i use to love campbell - i think he's a very political beast and my respect has gone downwards with him in recent season - too much of a supporter of the mad scientist frawley for mine. I'd rather campbell led through good football than arse licking a coach who majored in idiocy for almost 5 years. Richo is the only one outside of Bowden from the incumbent senior list that is worth a pinch of ******** - there are many up and coming players that were shafted by the dud - tuck will be recruit of the season next season

the thing about bowden and cruise control was he was able to do something about it because of his superior ability to 75% of the rest of the team. Most of the other senior players are not able to lift under pressure when asked the question - i'm glad he was dropped because of his response - but really how come no other dead******** senior player waas dropped during the season?

Agreed. I think some of his poor games and the couple of games where he kicked terribly might be down to fatigue. He logged a whole lot of minutes in that midfield without much help.

He was 16th in the league for total disposals, 4th in the league for average disposals. Only Scott West, Chad Fletcher and Joel Bowden had more of the ball than Johnson.
