The only person who knows truthfully why he left the West Coast Eagles is Judd, the messiah himself. To pontificate otherwise would be foolish but then speculation is what fuels BigFooty. Arguably it would be difficult not to be aware of the drug problem at the West Coast Eagles but if abuse of illegal drugs bothered Judd why did he maintain a close friendship with Daniel Kerr? Who undoubtly only comes second to Cousins or a close third to Mainwaring, in the category of most embarassing drug- related headlines for a West Coast Eagle's player.
To call West Coast Eagles or in some way suggest that it is not a real football club because it did not have the good fortune to be established over a century ago, is really an insult to the people who barrack for the West Coast Eagles and the people who have been involved in the club. That they in someway support a lie, that what they believe in is not as real as supporting Carlton. Indeed their biggest misfortune besides the well known off field issues seems to be that they were not established as the East Coast Eagles.
