Really really pissed Edwards has been dropped. 3 scoring shots in both his games this year, presents well, is a good type of leading forward who is a different type of player to Fev and Fish

Not at all surprized that O'hAilpin was dropped. I said earlier in the week that him being is the side is overkill against Essendons forward line.

Would have dropped Russell for Armfield probably but not surprized and I'd like to see Scotland go back to his quater back role and Hoops up forward.

Don't be surprized if Bentick or Army come in for Hadley.

Dissapointed in Edwards being droppd though.

No surprise to see Jammo and Special-K in. Pity Carlos and Snake had to make room. I though Carlos did enough against Gehrig to justify a job on Lloyd. Snake probably needs a run at Preston.

The Bombers are missing that extra tall with Lucas down though and look to have gone small at the selection table.

We have given him a go. He has played 20 + games and has not been a passenger is 2-3 of those.

I don't recall him being that highly rated last year.

but of course I do hope he can prove me wrong.

maybe his not 100% fit? not sure, it sounds weird to say but we are definately missing bentick...
Russel's selection baffles me. He makes me cringe everytime I see, hear or smell him.
I would be giving Browne,armfield or even ellard a crack before russel.

Edwards dropped, carlos dropped

Setanta dropped for team balance IMO, and possibly to regain some fitness and touch in the two's. Gehrig did well on him.

Edwards did present well........in patches......but went missing for lengthy periods and needed to do much more than he did to keep his spot.

Only played vs Tiges because Fisher was injured and wouldn't have played vs Saints if Hartlett wasn't suspended. Kreuzer automatic in ATM.

I really hope Jake has had a taste and goes back into the Ants and tears it up, forces his way back into the side. It would be nice if he challanged Fisher, Harts and Kreuzer for their spots.

Russell was O.K. last week, and the criticism on here from that game is ridiculous. From the reports I read in the Ants game Bentick's disposal wasn't great, and being underdone we'd have to wonder at the wisdon of bringing him in with Stevo, Hadley and Judd all still less than 100%.

Russ at least kept running the whole game, presented well, marked well, and his disposal was good to........other than the kick on goal.

Looks to be close to full strength with fully fit Walker and Setanta the only maybes.

Great to see someone has taken the blinkers off. Sure Jordan has had some poor moments on field but he was, as CN1 said, far from our worst last Saturday night.

How about putting some pressure on our 'senior' players who do bugger all like Stevens and Fev, rather than smashing a kid who is trying to make his way in the youngest, least experienced side in the comp and not doing that bad a job. Sure it'd be great to have AB in the side but on his performance last week for the Ants, he didnt deserve it(yes i was there before someone asks) and quite frankly, his skills arent up to AFL standard anyway. Pressure and tackling is great and something we lack, but no point in handing it straight back to the opposition after u win it.

Give the kid till the end of the year b4 your right him off, i think we'll all be pleasantly surprised at what he can do.

Russell wasn't half bad last weekend... he was all bad.

He's soft and very weak in contested situations. He gets easily taken out with a slight nudge.
