I am so looking forward to seeing Kruezer play. Spewing I won't be at the ground - especially for when we sing our song at the end of the match!

I'm also curious to see how Scotland goes up forward. His disposal was awful last week, so maybe he'd be better putting pressure on that flank with his physical play, and blazing at goal rather than pinpoint passes - or at least his up-and-under kicks will give the talls a chance.

Disappointed to see Carlos out, but I understand why - with Kreuzer coming in it's preferable to have someone explosive like Pfieffer stay in the side. I don't think the Bombers have enough talls to worry about.

To be honest, I can't remember one thing Jordon Russell has done, so I'll be watching him.

Still, I guess Ratten is still experimenting and I'm encouraged that we now have the depth to be able to rotate Carlos and Edwards out of the side.

I don't see Walker competing for Banno's spot.

Jackson, maybe Anderson and Armfield are competing for that spot.

Walker is not a shut down player. Needs to be competing for Russells spot. Defending HFF that can run forward with the turnover, or do dmage when in 50.

Right about Russ, O.K. last week and may just be turning a corner.
Umm didn 't mean Walker will play Bannister's role just that he will replace him in the 22:rolleyes:

Sure, but if you drop our only good tagger the presumption was that you'd need to bring another in.

Thats my point.

Who, if you drop Banno, and bring in Walker, will be our tagger?

How they might match up.

Ryder and Fletcher could easily swap, but we need a taller opponent to play on Winderlich.

We still need another running defender.

Armfield has to be coming in for Hadley if he doesn't come up for the game .

I'm worried about Simpson being less than 100% for this game.

You love playing with your little magnet board, makes me laugh :D

There's no chance that Hadley will play, didn't train and is clearly hampered with knee soreness.........so ARMFIELD will debut is my guess.
Why is Russell still in???
Last chance surely.....

Selection Blunders of 08, honestly why is Russell still in the team

Because the MC are better judges than you, aren't writing him off after two rounds of the season, and think he's worth persisting with for a bit longer? :thumbsu::rolleyes:

Edit: Tip, A simple question usually has a very simple answer :)

I think Fletcher will man Fevola, wherever he plays. Brendan will run wild on Mal Michael.

Just for you.

Hadley should play and come off the bench.

Michael will take Fevola and Fletcher will play on Fisher.

Michael was smashed by Fevola in round three because he didn't have a full pre-season and Fev was on that day. Fisher is playing his second game back and might not have the fitness to put pressure on Fletcher since he doesn't chase at the best of times.

Fletcher will run off him and be a playmaker with his precision passes.

I think Ryder will take Kreuzer and stay at home.

Hopefully we send Hampson forward to stretch their defence with his leap and mobility.

I'd love to throw Waite forward, but we will need him down back because Hille will push forward and present as an option. Hopefully our defence starts to gel and Waite can help out his teammates in defence without Lucas there.

No offence to Kruezer because he will probably be a very good footballer in the future but i hope we don't waste Ryder on him. Either play him on Fev or Fisher or push him forward.

Wasted on Kreuzer?

I hope he is reading this.

Kreuzer isn't a better talent than Ryder and wouldn't be a dangerous option if you leave a 200 cm player alone in your backline.

He might snap another goal on his wrong foot after roving the ball.

Fletcher would probably play too loose or trip him if he played on Freddy.

Fletcher would prefer Fisher because Kreuzer will chase and chase and chase.

Do you honestly think Kreuzer is even near Ryder at the moment? Ryder is probably our best defender currently.

Different stages of development mateyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Put it this way, no offence to Patty Ryder, as I rate him highly as a footballer, but i'd prefer to have Freddy at a stoppage than Ryder.

True. But at the same stage

Kreuzer > Ryder.

Very clear that after 1 game Kreuzer has had a big impact. After his first game, pretty sure Ryder didn't.;)
