Poor babies.... If it is pre crime related why take the babes... obviously have collateral but.... seriously so s**t. hope they are safe and as well as can be
 
Whatever the reason, it is terrible that two kids have been abducted. The Mum is in hospital with severe injuries. May the kids be found and she make a speedy recovery.

Police will look at all lines of enquiry.
Random kidnapping
Domestic issues
Business dealing/ disgruntled client
Links to crime
Mistaken identity

Will say median house price in the area is 1.2-1.4, older area so may not look expensive at first glance ?however Not sure though.

Yeah it’s not far from my place, plenty of exxy houses in the area.

Police have confirmed they are treating it is an isolated incident and not a random attack.

Super curious what happened here... when was the last time there’d been a child abduction in Australia? Let alone metropolitan Melbourne.

They clearly haven't done this before.. Which is a good thing
 
Neighbours told the Herald Sun the unit is occupied by a large number of tenants, described as Chinese.

They said the property seemed like a boarding house, and that the garage had been converted to accommodate more people.

The residents do not freely associate with other people in the street and are known to dump rubbish, including furniture, outside neighbouring homes
