Man accused of kidnapping children made $1 million ransom demand, police allege
A man accused of kidnapping two children from their home in Melbourne's east faces court sporting a black eye and appearing emotional.
I don’t know if they Dad was his boss or not but this coward seems set for a lengthy spell. Crimes against children are of the worst nature and they may suffer the affects for a lifetime. The poor Mum copped serious injuries also.
Ransom demands on the wealthy are never dealt with favourably in court if you’re facing these charges so he’s probably looking at around 10 in the big house.

On a more serious note, it sounds like the mental health card is being played.
Regardless of issues this is one of the sort of crimes we as a society don’t want copycated. Child abduction for ransom cannot be seen as a ticket to easy street.
